  1. I agree with your desires here. Once an item is delisted, it is gone gone gone. They completely remove the entire item record, so there is no there there for you to reference. However ... It would be nice if they could provide a "Record Dump" of the delisted item, preferably as a PDF or some other static format, and best of all would be if they could highlight the particular portion of the record in violation. TBH it's sorely needed as punishing someone without letting them know WHY they're being punished will NEVER correct the bad behavior. If you have no idea what you did wrong then you'll never fix it. (That's a corollary to "If you never admit you're wrong, you will never get better.")
  2. Yup, it's always something like "I left the lens cap on" kinda thing .. innit?
  3. To quote a cop friend of mine: "Why do they always run?"
  4. Wait .. WHAT?!? You've forgotten your Intended's name? *giggles and runs away*
  5. My daughter shared this with me. It's an animated GIF of the sun's shadow crossing the US as seen from space: http://imgur.com/gallery/qBFa1Xi
  6. But won't that make hair grow on my palms?
  7. All of my passwords are a single digit. But it's super secure because it's a Prime number not divisible by 2. Now, have I shown you my excellent selection of bridges and high-rise buildings for sale?

  9. Me? Have Alts? Not Meeeee!! Honest! Trust me!! I saw a post earlier where the author made a mistake that led to some serious consternation, but they couldn't delete the post. Maybe that's one? But you do have me curious now, what are some reasons you've used?
  10. The message actually said that the items had "flagging activity" which I took to mean someone (or someones) had flagged them. That more than likely brought them to LL's attention who, upon review, decided they were unsuitable for the Marketplace. But really I think it rests on the second paragraph, they can be seen as items promoting illegal activities. I agree with you, "because it offends me" would see pretty much most of the stuff on the Marketplace gone.
  11. When I add a post to a Topic, I'm not allowed to React to it. But I AM allowed to Report it. It's no biggie really .. I was just wondering why I'd want to report my own post is all.
  12. "Warning: The Hot Coffee in this cup is Hot" kinda person? "Do not use Electric Blow Dryer in the shower" kinda person? "Soap Bar is slippery when wet" kinda person? "Do not wear Eclipse Glasses while driving" kinda person? Yup .. I sometimes wonder too. *SIGH*
  13. A small bit of careful thinking may help you here. If you live in the USA then you might be aware of the current majority opinion that the "Southern Flag" (AKA Stars & Bars or Battle Flag of the South) is offensive to a large portion of the country's population. It has become an unwelcome symbol of Slavery, White Supremacy, the KKK, Neo-Nazism and other discriminatory and bigoted belief systems. If you are either not aware of the majority opinion in this country or you disagree with it, you should remember that Linden Lab controls the Marketplace, not you. Posting items that promote illegal activities (e.g.: Pedophelia) is not allowed. It can be reasonably argued that the forced enslavement of others is not a legal practice and thus posting of items that promote or condone such illegal activity is, by extension, also not allowed. If you disagree with this then you should remember that Linden Lab controls the Marketplace, not you. 14. Just under 93% here in NC. My very first "Sciencey" memory was the partial in '59. My favorite uncle made a pinhole camera/shadow box for me. So I made two this time around for our 5 y/o granddaughter. She got "bored" and went inside to watch TV. Bleh! (KIDS!) Thank you VERY much to those posting their pictures. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! I truly wish I'd been there with you. So the partial eclipse is a "Government Plot" to blind those too stupid to do a little thinking and reading on their own?
  15. PayPal has a verification process that is used to prove the linked bank account is really yours and that you control it. They make two small deposits to your account, each under $1.00US. They will then ask you to enter the amounts they deposited. If you get it right then you are verifying you have access to the account. That is what is meant by having a "Verified Bank Account". However, this is the process for the USA. I do not know their rules for Canada. I suggest you log in to your PayPal account and check that your linked bank account has been fully verified. As the error message told you, only PayPal can resolve this issue. The message is telling you that when Linden Lab tried to start the process of transferring money into your PayPal Account, PayPal told them "This PayPal account does not have a fully verified bank account." Since the info is coming from PayPal, Linden Lab cannot do anything to help you. The solution must come from PayPal. FYI: You cannot transfer money into a PayPal account that only has a linked credit card nor can you transfer money directly to a credit card account. Credit Cards are "spend only" monetary instruments. They allow incoming money only through their payment process. And that is a process that cannot be done via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) from third parties like PayPal or Linden Lab. If your bank account is Verified (Confirmed) then you should see something like this when you view the account's details on PayPal.
  16. CRAP!! (That's a greeting, not an exhortation.) Long see no time. Glad you're still around.
  17. Next time bring a tape recorder. Your L$ worries could be over for life if you get the right "noises".
  18. Ahhhh! Whew! I've been like staring in the mirror for the past four hours trying to figure out if my eyes were crossed. Thank you for clearing that up.
  19. IMO that's a very high bar to hit. Some of us are thorough gadabouts, but most folks are very circumspect in sharing their opinions. Even at a breezy clip of 5 posts per day, that's still 100 days of "investment" just to earn a rather innocuous form of personalization. Granted it could be used for profanity or bullying, but that tendency should be evident before someone hits 100 posts. Anyone else up to asking that the bar be lowered ... say to 100 posts?
  20. I know I have a bit of lysdexia but .. aren't those feet on the wrong legs?
  21. ^^^ THIS ^^^ There is nothing so hard a slap as going out of your way to assemble tons of helpful info, guidance, recommendations and suggestions .. only to have the recipient disagree or dismiss all of it. And THEN WANT MORE! Yup .. totally agreed Skell. And good on you for being so restrained in your "resignation" from the OP's Free Advice Council.
  22. /me volunteers to lead the "Capture, restrain and punish" Squad.
  23. *ebil grin* Yup, I'm the same way. Long-way-round on first pass. Later when I'm squeezing out every byte of memory, I'll make code optimizations like that. I'm not always sure they help though. It would be nice if there was some way to get P-Code sizes so I can determine which code changes are useful and which ding me the other way. So just to summarize (for clarity): The real cause of the issue was two labels named "out"?
  24. RATS! I was hoping to convince you it was your entire computer set up so I could have you ship everything to me for testing. But now that you've fixed it .. bleh! FYI: I was going to suggest you change the assignment of the id variable so that it doesn't modify the loop iterator. So it would instead read:
