You should have no problem with that PC. However, what I do tend to see most is the Laptop users connect wirelessly. wireless is never good for gaming and SL is afterall a game.

I know, the AR system has always been a problem mostly do to the shear volume of reports being submitted. It was explained to me ages ago by Blue Linden that frequency moves it higher in their queue. What this would tell me is that the more that report the issue, the higher it gets placed. My suggestion would be to have many in your group report the person or, since your group seems to running without a rudder, find a new place to go and start with a new group owner. Sort of drastic but if someone set this up, paid for the land and then does not come back for months, how much longer before tier does not get paid and then everything is gone anyways?

Make things, or get a job is pretty much it. If you are new, it is a bit difficult to make money as you wont have a lot of experience and it is that experience that is marketable. Learn as much as you can first them you can come back and check the jobs listings and see if anything comes up or learn a skill that you can use in world that you can profit from.

They can if both owners deed them to the same group. Only same group or same owner can create a single estate.

Unfortunately, this is a between user problem which LL does not get involved with. In a case like this, there is really nothing you can do other than report the greifers with an Abuse Report.

I had posted for some input yesterday on the group liability issues where group owners can randomly charge their members without the ability to opt in or without notice. This is an unfair practice and I see this as a violation of the ToS though it is a gray area. I recently opened a Jira and have seen that there are others on the same topic with few votes dating back 4 years which tells me that either many don't think this is a problem or that they are not aware of a Jira being posted. Please look up: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4549 and post your comments and/or vote if you would. It seems to me that it's time LL put an end to this antiquated practice. Edit: BTW, I was contacted by someone outside the forums yesterday who told me they had an alt with a -2,500L balance that she hasn't used in some time and all of that was from group liabilities that she was not aware of. It can add up.

Having a unified time zone allows us all to know what time it is in SL which greatly simplifies issues. If someone says a time, there is no question around which time zone as everything works of Pacific time.

I'm loving it too except for one small problem that I cannot seem to fix and was about to post about to see if anyone else has seen this or has been able to fix it. My hands are constantly in the Open and Spread position. Never relaxed, just wide open and fingers spread wide. I've removed everything from my AO to my Nails and they still remain open. Turned off animations, relogged, and still fingers opened wide. Anyone else experience this with the new viewer? Edit: BTW, this all happened after I turned off typing animations though its constant, even when I am not typing.

I agree to with both of you as there is a need for this but it needs disclosure. You should either be told you will have funds removed when you click the join the group just like a paid group join or you should be notified if this is going to take money out and at that point, have the option to opt in. By default, it should not be allowed to charge you, only after you have agreed to this.

I currently pay 2L per prim on own sim but I have seen most go for 1-2 per prim. It seems to be a bit on the high side for just a 2,500 traffic count. But then again, I've not seen your mall. Sassy and others have a lot of rental spots they use, I wonder what the going rate is these days since Sim costs have not gone up since December 2006. In fact, in 2008 the initial cost dropped by 1/2 from $2,000 US to $1,000 US.

Quite often you can sell this stuff at yard sales. Look for a yard sale and see if you can place some stuff there.

Exactly, lets not fill up these forums with problem and errors on day one (actually, hour 9) of roll out. Anyone can tell you that this will be a day or two to get launched so just chill and let it happen. Also, no one has had a store in MP since 2007. If anything you had a store on SLExchange which is all together a different system and different owners.

You jsut deed the land to your group. A point to also consider: If you have auto return on (which I always recommend) then make sure everthing is set to the right group or it will return.

Last night I logged into an account that I have not used in a while and was surprised to see I had a negative balance. How would this happen? So, I looked at my transaction record and saw that someone from some group I don't remember joining was charging me their group liability. What frustrates me is that any group owner can turn this or off at their will without anyone in the group giving permission to do so. This is a feature that has to be stopped. Im my case, a few lindens is not a big deal however, years back when I closed down my sims, it took me a year to get them to shut off my group liabilities and that wasn't until I kicked everyone out of the group and closed it. Land Listing should be charged to the person or group who owns the land, that I agree with as there really is no other way but no one should be made liable for this without their knowledge. Should I do a Jira on this and does anyone else agree?

At the core of everything in SL is Creation. Everything here revolves around creating and the ability to create. Even if you cannot create the components of something, you can still buy things to create your own look, you own environment and your own life. It's a virtual world that you can completely customize to be whatever you want it to be and you can also buy your avatar in the MP which in a way, is still creating your look.
