  1. Tired of looking for items on the Marketplace only to end up with pages of results unrelated to what you were looking for? And they tell us the marketplace search engine isn't gamed. Well, there is a much better way to search: go to Google, and in the search bar type: site:marketplace.secondlife.com With a space after it type your search term, eg: site:marketplace.secondlife.com skins This will bring up the standard Google list of sites, so I click images and voila!, pages of relevant search results.

Better get the link while you can since I am not sure how long the Lindens will allow this thread to continue.
  3. This solution is not complete for the Bing page. No form pops up when you go to the webmaster center, only the home page.
  4. Thanks Marcus. I personally never use the subscriptions for the very reasons you gave, but I am suffering the ridiculousness going on with the payment system and could not help but be aware of the simultaneous failure of the subscription system as well. I know why it is happening: you have gaming developers attempting to write fiduciary software for what they think are only gaming tokens, but everyone else, including the federal government, considers it an online currency, and as such it should be handled as cash. You would think someone would get a clue at Linden Labs, but the Marketplace failures continue to mount and the levels of non-communication continue to multiply.
  5. Subscriptions being charged 30 times, payouts taking 2 weeks....what more is there to say? If this were a bank or a broker they would be in jail.
  6. I started the 6th last Sunday and I'm still waiting a week later. Used to be under the 'old' horrible wait times you could request monday and get it by thursday. Now we have a new order of stupidity going on since they have their own self-declared monopoly. How I miss Virwox with their instantaneous transfers :-P
  7. I've gone from losing a single transaction here and there to MAJOR HEMORRHAGING. Losses are now at 6700L for my small business in SL. I can't imagine what's happening to the larger businesses. This is turning into a marketwide system crash.

  9. Wow, what a mess this is. Can you imagine your bank doing this to your money? But that's the problem: Linden labs still see lindens as 'tokens', but to the rest of us it is our money and livelihood.

  11. Thanks Skip for the contact. I'll try that.
  12. Thank you for the supportive replies everyone. My entire trouble has been in actually trying to contact someone. Their email link is invalid, the contact person listed on their home page no longer responds to IMs or even notecards, and when you try to click the support link it tells you your password is invalid even though you are already logged in to their site. So I am at a complete loss as to how to even reach anyone for help from that business.
  13. Learned a hard lesson recently as a business owner in SL. I tried a site called metabizlist that the Lindens promoted as an SL Business Directory ( http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Brands ). I registered Lunaria, got approved, paid L$1000 for advertising costs, then got a message that Lunaria was not a real business. My business has been on the marketplace for 4 years and I have an in-world showcase where all of the displays are set for sale. The support person listed on the site did not respond to IMs and their email link was invalid. I then tried to submit a support ticket but the support link would not allow me to log in. Lost L$1000 on that one.
  14. Go to virwox.com. The lindex site is hopeless now. Now if only a viable popular alternative to the marketplace would surface...
  15. Went to Virwox per several suggestions on this blog and am very happy :-) Finally a website that works smoothly and quickly, something no Linden project ever does. You'd think they would get a clue but theyre still just morons trying to pretend to be web developers lol
