Are you a Linden in disguise? You´re completely off topic Sir, my questions was: why is LL not doing something to improve the basic avatar mesh? What you are proposing to do is possible for "maybe" 1% of the SL population and I´m not one of those 1%.

Mesh avatars will not allow me to use my own shape ... and I like my own, individually created and unique form.

Why hasn´t LL done anything to improve our avatars? I´ve been a member since 2004 (with a break) and NOTHING, except for the possiblity to ad a physics layer, has changed since then. Don´t you think it´s time for some improvements? Personally, I really would like some toes on my avatars´ feet and the shoulders are a far cry from reality ... not to mention the view when some one bends over :) What is your opinion on this topic and what do you think should be changed or improved? Any ideas on how we can give LL a push to start working on this?

What a narrow minded way of judging creators. I can garantee you that my textures are original and not stoolen are copied.

For the best rate, just use the Linden exchange. I haven´t found a better one yet. If you want the dollars transfered to your bank account, the easiets way is to create a Paypal account and transfer the dollars there. It takes a few days but always works fine.

I started this topic to find a solution for the alpha glitch. In the 4 years that I´m online I noticed that LL doesn´t seem to be interested in addressing this problem. I have a garden center inworld and I´m tired of seeing my trees and flowers through the walls of my houses and to see one tree wiping out the other ... and yes, those textures all have alpha "channels" and removing that channel from the textures is NOT a solution to the problem. Rotating the prim plants, sometimes helps a bit. If it were possible though, to apply a tga or png texture in 24 bits WITH an alpha channel to those prims that produce the occlusion, the problem should, at least, be partly solved. Therefore my question is: Is it possible to make a tga/png texture WITH alpha channel in 24 bits and how do I do that?

This can´t help me out since when you flatten an image, you loose the alpha layer and I need a texture with alpha layer in 24 bits to cope with the alpha bug.

1: Lower prices to increase land sales. 2: allow prims up to 100m to be made by premiums to drive up premium accounts. 3: create 512mx512m standalone islands for racing. This is very easy to do and will sell like hotcakes. 4: restore ownership of things in SL - just like land bought in Montana can't be taken out of the state, neither can land (or anything else) be taken out of SL. 5: initiate a "Welcome Home" program where people who abandoned islands can restart them again with no fee and no cost - just pick up the tier at the new lower rate once more and all is good. 6: create a G continent for the teens to be restricted to. Adults may enter it so educational ventures can work, but the teens may not enter the main grid. The bill-paying adults then are less worried about staying. All these things can be implemented in less than a month. It's nobody's fault but LL's if you dry out this cash cow and get no more milk from it. Now that would be a SMART business plan!!!! I really don´t understand why THEY can´t see the benefits of this. LL WAKE UP!!!!!!
