  1. Living in Switzerland, SkyBlue is a watercolour painter that paints many different themes of nature and angels, but he always paint the light.
SkyBlue loves water and only paints with watercolour. The light, flow and transparency of the medium fascinates him. He's been an artist for over 20 years, and his art has spread out to clients in England, Germany, Holland, Switzerland... and now SL.
His pictures are active. They radiate light and energy and have a positive effect on their surroundings. He invites you to step into your own world and discover your soul through his pictures.  After all... Art is nourishment for the soul!
SkyBlue's Watercolour Art will be showcased at the OZLAND Art Gallery for the month of June.  Visit this most unique exhibit and make sure you take home the special FREE gift that SkyBlue has made.

  3. 11-30 am to 12-30pm SLT - Saturday 2nd March

Meet and Greet the Artist and have a dance too! :matte-motes-bashful-cute:

Elbow works from his home studio in the USA. In many of his ink sketches the love he has for the impressionists comes through in their open compositions and quick, rough feel. He generally uses a Cross Ball-Point Pen as it gives him very good line control, no bleeding and wide tonal range. His drawings are most often done traditionally, then scanned and edited and or colored with art programs like Photo Shop. When Elbow does commercial work, it's done in a medium and style best suited for the given project. Often his commercial work is photo-retouching, color correcting or manipulating to meet a client's needs and likely to be so subtle as to not know it has been worked. Elbow has been running his SL gallery for over four years, but you can view Elbow's extraordinary artwork the month of March at the OZLAND Art Gallery. Don't forget to pick up the FREE gift he has left for all guests visiting the gallery too.

  4. 11am to Midday SLT

Mathilde Vhargon is a former professional classical musician.  She began making sculpture in Second Life and then became more focused on digital painting, which she creates using only Gimp software and a mouse or digital drawing pad.  She loves the many possibilities digital software offers for creating and saving multiple versions of a piece she is working on.

Her paintings suggest themselves to her a little at a time without conscious planning.  She often uses small sections of them as materials to develop into new paintings.

  7. From what I recall most of the DJ displays used to use the info from the 7.html page provided by Shoutcast V1 to get song information,  The 7,html page no longer exists on Shoutcast V2. This in effect breaks the LSL scripting in older DJ boards unless the stream supplier is still running Shoutcast V1.

    From http://wiki.winamp.com/wiki/SHOUTcast_DNAS_Server_2_XML_Reponses

In SHOUTcast DNAS v1 servers a 7.html could be accessed to get certain information about the current server instance for reporting and other usage. This is no longer provided in the SHOUTcast v2 DNAS and has been replaced by an equivalent xml response which provides some extra information via the /stats (public) or admin.cgi?mode=viewxml&page=1 (private) options.

The following shows the order of and what information was provided by the 7.html response against the xml entry name in the /stats or admin.cgi?mode=viewxml&page=1 xml response:

CURRENTLISTENERS STREAMSTATUS PEAKLISTENERS MAXLISTENERS UNIQUELISTENERS BITRATE SONGTITLE

  8. Its not that type of recorder.  Not a video recorder, audio recorder, chat recorder or even screen recorder.  It has been hidden away in the Advanced, Develop menus for a while. What it does is to record your avatar's movements and then lets you play them back and even loop them.  It is useful in making machinima as can then take videos of  the same action several times from different views.

There did used to be a video recorder  built in to the viewer long ago (Up to version 1.19), but it was buggy and caused crashes so it was removed,

  9. Are "You" ready to challenge your writing skills? Then participate in our OZLAND Picture Stories writing series.

Each month a new picture will be picked, from our OZLAND Artist of the Month collection, with different themes. Your goal is to write a 500-1000 word... poem... essay... or story about the picture picked. This is a chance for you to challenge your writing skills each month. Story can be written in ANY genre... sci fi... romance... ghost... fantasy... fiction... non-fiction... biography... mystery... historical... whatever your writing genre... feel free to experiment. There are no prizes, just the chance to listen and share.

    GUIDELINES:

500-1000 words - Poem, Essay, Story - PG rated please

    WHEN WE MEET:

Each Wednesday of the month.. at 12 Noon SLT and then again at 7pm SLT for about an hour,(depends on how many stories will be read.. We want everyone to have a chance to read so no ending time is set).. at the OZLAND Art Gallery.

You will be asked to read your story on voice. (if you do not wish to read your story on voice please let us know by the Tuesday before, and we will get someone to read your story for you). Newest stories will be read first, then repeat stories. If you get your story done early you will have a chance to read it 4 or 5  times before the next month's picture is set.

If you get your story to Sven Pertelson by the TUESDAY before the storytime he will put it on the website for people to read along... http://ozlandbard.blogspot.com/

  10. Hopefully thist will push the spam in this section below the line, but I do have a suggestion.

Suggestion. Limit 'New Residents' to creating one new topic in the first 24 hours from their first topic creation. This will not stop them but would limit the spam and mean they have to work harder for any return.
