    Truth be told I like the body I have, I don't want to over complicate things for myself. I got lucky and found "no feet needed" at slink so there is a whole section of shoes I can buy. That's good enough for me. The demos look great. I never go barefoot so I'm not worried about how my feet look. At a later date I will post some pictures so you guys can see me as I am Hopefully you will understand why I'm happy like this.

    I chose a body called "Kimberly" which obviously is not mesh, as I have regular SL feet, I don't really feel like having a body like everybody else's. I like the one I have. I suppose I could buy mesh feet, I've been to slink, the store, and looking around it all makes sense now. I am getting from majority of you that I should just get mesh feet unless I want to wear boots all the time so that's what I'm going to do. The clothes I buy fit my body just fine. And the other female bodies I've seen all have big asses and big boobs lol and I don't want a face like everyone else. You have all been very helpful, thank you.

    I accidentally bought shoes that require mesh feet. I have never heard of mesh feet until I saw them for sale. Is it really worth having mesh feet or are there enough good shoe choices for regular zero sized feet. I am only interested in having one or two pairs of good shoes and lots of boots. Any takers on this one? Milla

    Thank you Madeline, I was there for a week and one day, got our power back at home two days after the storm but of course when you're in the hospital you only get sick lol. Anyway I made it out of there and made it back home and all is good, we don't see another hurricane coming the pike any time soon. So I guess I'll in SL for a while.

    Thank you, I was able to increase my folder's time to 60 days which totally helped.

    Hi gang, I am back from a long absence and now that the SL dashboard has changed I see that the "recent" inventory only holds items for 24 hours, if that. I want to know if there is any way to make the "recent" files longer - like say maybe 3 weeks. Thanks in advance, Milla

    I was in the Faraway talking to this guy who is an old time user like me i.e. we've both been in SL for almost 10 years. The Faraway has gotten smaller and during out discussion he mentioned that SL used to be more a out aft and creativity and now it's all about sex because people only have to type in their DOB to qualify in adult areas. Age verification used to be a more lengthy process. Is this what SL has been lowered to. If I am wrong can you guys suggest more creative areas for me to explore. I love taking pictures in SL and that would be a lot of help. Thanks Milla

    Thank you, you both have been very helpful. I know all about flickr because I used to be on there will my SL pics. I lost that account because I couldn't remember my old Yahoo log in that was tied to flickr. Thanks for the tip about the HUD, I will try to find another area to go to that allows scripts. I usually use a public sandbox when taking pictures to post here. I will bounce around to see where I can use my HUD. I am sure I will be back with more questions eventually so stay tuned, ha ha ha. A lot has changed since my accident in 2010 ... which reminds me, I was verified as an adult and now I am not. How do I get that done again? This is the same account I have now.

    Just now I logged in, changed my "Kimberly'' shape to the second on the list (there's 3)and the shirt fit! Now I don't know how to use this hud? I'm supposed tp be able to change the colors of the shirt. Any help?

    Just bought this shirt and this is how it appears. I cannot seem to take a snapshot of the "wearing" window but it shows that I have everything on that came with this shirt. When I bought the shirt it did not offer sizes, I simply clicked on the board and paid. The shirt should appear as open but covering my boobs. I am wearing the "t-shirt" alpha layer and there were only 2 other boxes which I am also wearing. Does this help you guys?

    Hi Lillith, Thank you here is a photo of my avatar wearing a bathing suit that clearly does not cover her all the way. When I got into second life again my avatar was all screwed up. So I chose a new one, then proceeded to buy a shape and a skin which I am wearing in that photo. I am very aware of how to change my shape, but I chose to buy one because it was easier. I did not notice anything about sizes when I purchased my clothes. I am having the same problem with other items I bought. They wear perfectly the first time I put them on but the second time as the picture shows, partial clothes. Thanks Milla

    Thank you, that was very helpful. I do have a new avatar, shape and skin and the clothes I am referring to fit me the first time, and then when I wear them again ,they don't. How do I find this alpha /mesh in the clothing? My avatar is pretty standard, thin body, boobs aren't too big. I will check for a resizing hud on my shape. Thank you again. Milla

    I've been inworld for years, became paralyzed and now I'm back. The problem is when I buy new clothes some don't fit at all while others fit the first time I wear them and then wen I try again fragments are missing. Has anyone had this problem. p.s. there is no resizing option for the clothes. Milla Alexandre
