  2. Go to the official website for the maker of your graphics card & check for any available driver updates.
  3. @ jimmee, follow the advice in the rest of this thread. You probably need to get your group tag removed. If you have an alt or a friend that can go inworld & contact the group owner to get you kicked out of the group that is the easiest way.
  4. They do expire if they are old notices. You should still be able to go to the notices tab in group info & get them from there.

    Go to https://support.secondlife.com/history/ click on the relevant ticket number & then submit the information requested.
  6. Switch off your router, leave it off for a few minutes & then reboot your computer.

If the payments are from some split commission vendor or some other scripted object, the money will have been paid by the customer to the object owner & then paid out from that account to whoever is entitled to a share of the money. If the money was paid to a group, group dividends are paid out the next day. If it is from an individual, it should be instant & it is probably just a slow update problem as already suggested.
  8. Assuming that you have already downloaded the viewer from https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/? go to the login screen & change it from Basic to Advanced mode & then reopen the login screen again & login.
  9. The problem you are describing has been happening to a few people recently & appears to be a connection or DNS issue. There have been a few fixes that all work for different people, so if you are lucky the easiest one will work for you. Switch off your router, leave it off for a few minutes & then reboot your computer.

If you pay for Premium membership for a year for $72, you will get back $66.40 back throughtout the year with Stipends & the bonus, so it only costs $5.60 for the whole year & you will not only get your account fixed but you will have a Linden home for a year & be entitled to the free gifts which would appear to be monthly. As well as year of support. If you cancel your account, you will probably lose more that $5.60 worth of inventory so surely it makes more sense to just go Premium.
  11. Do you mean if someone has your perms not your prims? If you are using RLV and have given permission to someone to control you, just remove your collar or whatever RLV attachment you are wearing.
  12. You don`t say which viewer you are using, but if it is one with web profiles, try clearing your browser cache/cookies, it may be showing you an old page. You can also try logging in on a V1 viewer, such as LL 1.23 or Phoenix or another TPV & resaving your profile there to see if that kicks the changes into showing on your v2 viewer.
  13. Make sure that you are on a viewer that supports shared media, basically a v2 one. Try installing the flash player for "other browsers" from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
  14. What viewer are you using? Try reducing your draw distance & graphics settings & see if that makes things rezz faster. If you are using 2 monitors, make sure that you are running SL on the primary one. Disable HTTP Textures, clear your cache & relog.
  15. What message are you getting when you try to login? Are you both getting the same message?

  18. Oooh good job, I`m liking the Spork viewer. What is the UI like? That can make or break a viewer yanno & is it Mac & Linux compatible & does it have pie?
  19. I agree with Marigold that a chat client with no graphics such as Radegast would be ideal, but does require a login, same with Metabolt, though I think Radegast is better. If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod there are also a couple of chat apps for them http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory If you just want to send messages to people inworld, I use an offline pager (see my picks) which lets you send an IM to anyone using your email.

  24. Hi again Teedy, I am not sure why you keep posting the same question, is this the 4th or 5th time now? As explained to you before, the issue in your inventory of multiple trash cans can only be fixed by LL, if you don`t want to get a premium account there is nothing anyone can do about them. As for your avatar, it appears to be wearing alpha layers for some sort of armour, but if you have checked that then, ttry going to your library clothing folder and dragging any of the folders in there onto your avatar. If you have made the SL window smaller on your screem. stretch it back to full size & rebake using ctrl alt R. If they don`t work, try the suggestions on http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/doku.php?id=fs_bake_fail And if none of them work either, you are going to have to go premium & get both problems fixed by support.
