Hello there, We are the team of Groovitz™, a current project that is being created within the game of Second Life. The team of Groovitz™ consists of four developers who have been dedicated to the project and it's completion into beta and eventually onto a full release. We are looking to hire a second scripter to work alongside our head scripter. The preferred candidate should have knowledge of HTTP communications, json structure, prim to prim communication, and be able to work with others on a team. The hud will need multiple ‘screens’. I have already wrote an animation system that can be used for switching between these screens. The hud will have to communicate with our web server on a regular basis. I will be doing all of the server side programming. If you aren’t familiar with lsl http communications, I will provide you with what you need to know. The hud will need to interact with an attachment which we have been developing for the past year. I have in mind a way to develop a good framework for the hud so it will be efficient with the rest of our system and can easily be extended in the future without much trouble. Each screen of the hud will be a ‘mini system’ within the hud. Most of these screens will download a list of ‘things’ the user needs to interact with. Web interactions will be in JSON format. I will provide examples of how I already send/receive data. We are looking for a scripter that is comfortable with receiving a percentage of income, until paid in full, once the product is released. Depending on the desired compensation, we may ‘pay as you work’, for work completed. Payment options can be further discussed during the interview. If interested in joining our team please contact Lastat Daxter via notecard in second life. If you are looking for a steady scripting position with small jobs to do, then don’t hesitate to contact us! Unfortunately we cannot provide much more information than what’s been stated. If you are interested we will interview you to get a good basis of your talent. If decided, we will then share more information with you to see if this is something you are indeed interested in participating in. Before which, you will be required to sign an NDA. Thank you for your time!
