I always take PNG snapshots in below viewer settings, I prefer high resolution shots because it gives more processing window afterwards, I use a laptop with these specs (i5-GT330-8GB mem with a 27" LCD attached), each snapshot saved on my HDD is about 1.5MB *meows*

u can also derender the building, right click on it->more->more->derender *meows*

I am using most of the time 'emergence', otherwise 'Phoenix'... I know where I can enable shadows, but just wonder if I need to tweak other settings so I can see the shadows in-world *meows*

I would like to use shadows for photographic purposes (but still think that my PC is not ready for it ...GT330 - i5 - 8GB) but what are the right settings to get shadows working, maybe I am just tweaking my viewer wrongly .....:smileysad: *meows*
