Nice work so far, guys. Looks like there's a lot of potential here for simple, straight forward, low-barrier, entry into SL.
It seems to work quite well as a very basic viewer. I only found two major annoyances:
First, load times were atrocious for me. It took several minutes for my avatar's hair to appear. I attended a concert, and the stage didn't appear until about 10 seconds before the end of the last song. Until then, I thought the singer and the dancers, were just performing in mid air the whole time. Not everyone seems to be reporting such slow load times, though, so maybe it was just a temporary glitch or something.
Second, and this one was much worse, there doesn't seem to be any way to adjust the volume, or mute parcel media streams, without muting everything. If you hate the music on a parcel, but you want to hear other things, you're out of luck. I'd suggest addressing this ASAP if you guys want widespread adoption of this. I'd imagine nothing will turn people away faster than being forced to listen to music they don't like.
Other than that, it was a pleasant experience. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see how this progresses.
