  1. Hi Ayesha, it looks like the release notes for LeTigre and BlueSteel simply haven't been updated yet. The correct version for BlueSteel and LeTigre with today's roll is 12.07.24.262437, so you're in good shape.
  2. No, llTeleportAgentGlobalCoords has the same restrictions as llTeleportAgent. It was an oversight that the wiki page for GlobalCords was missing "This function can only teleport the owner of the object." I've added that now, before somebody files a bug. :manvery-happy:
  3. Jenni Darkwatch wrote: llTeleportAgent wiki entry says it's owner-only. Is that erroneous? Hi Jenni, this line from the llTeleportAgent wiki page is correct: >> This function can only teleport the owner of the object. PERMISSION_TELEPORT is fairly locked-down, compared to most other LSL permissions.
  4. >> I see that the Grid Status Calendar is showing Blue Steel and Le Tigre rolling on Wednesday (today) and Magnum rolling on Thursday (Tomorrow). It there any particlur reason, or is it just the rollout process is still slow? That must have been mistake on the calendar. All 3 RCs are being deployed today - BlueSteel and Magnum are being rolled, and LeTigre is getting a config update which doesn't require a roll. Looking at the calendar now, all 3 RCs are listed for today: Wednesday, July 18 8:00am BlueSteel Roll 9:00am LeTigre Roll 10:00am Magnum Roll
  5. Pandorah: what caused the land impact to be 113? Was it physics weight? Both tori and hollow cylinders are very expensive to the physics engine, and thus have a very high physics cost. Setting them to physics shape type 'prim' should be avoided whenever possible. This guide has some more information: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Physics_Optimization
  6. >> Can you pass me the SVC # of the above issue so I can look it up and not file a duplicate please? Hi MB, there is no existing SVC issue for 'vehicles can snag on the terrain'.
  7. Hi MB, I tried region crossings on vehicles in the Magnum sandboxes (used the 'Kart 1.0' and a mesh motorcycle I have), and can't reproduce region crossing issues - I found that region crossing performance was the same on Magnum as on other channels. I suspect the problem could be your specific region, avatar, or vehicle (e.g. crossing performance is generally worse if you have too many scripts in attachments or the vehicle). As Oskar said, please file an SVC bug with the relevant details, with reliable steps to reproduce the issue.
  8. Ayesha, we're re-rolling Magnum to the correct version (12.07.06.261281, in the release notes). The first roll was to a slightly older version, by accident.
  9. Due to an issue with the Magnum RC channel roll, which just completed, this channel will be rolled a 2nd time.
  10. Yes, the SVC-8023 fix is included in tomorrow's planned Magnum RC update.
  11. Hi Qie, I imported https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8023 after confirming that the crossing failure from PF into non-PF applies to non-mesh objects as well - this is a bug.
  12. Hi nettlenibbler, you should consider filing a VWR bug at https://jira.secondlife.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa if you see this with a Linden Lab viewer. We don't support Firestorm.
  13. Hi Ayesha, I'm guessing it is/was just map-update lag. I just logged in, and 'woods of heaven' seems online to me, on the world map.
  14. Ayesha, please see this blog post: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Viewer/Third-Party-Viewer-Policy-Changes/td-p/1399141
  15. Release notes have been updated for this week's RCs. Here's the executive summary: * LeTigre and BlueSteel have a server maintenance project, which only contains bugfixes * Magnum still has the region crossing project from last week, with an additional fix for a case in which some avatars would get stuck in a region and be unable to TP out. The release notes links from Oskar's original post have more details about the changes.
  16. Hi WolfBaginski, there are no changes to the voice and region crossing features from last week's RCs. Last week, however, these projects were erroneously missing the newest changes from Second Life Server 12.02.06.248938. The RCs this week now have those missing changes.
  17. By the way guys, SVC-7608 "Sims are not visible when diagonally opposed" is also fixed with the Magnum update. The fix itself wasn't to the simulator code, but to a central service that informs regions of their neighbors. A simulator restart (provided by the rolls today) was required for the fix to take effect.
  18. Hi Ardy, that bandwidth/many connections bug is known and is fixed with this week's update: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7613
  19. We detected a new sim crasher while doing today's rolls. One of the changes in the new BlueSteel version (which was also in Magnum) appears to be responsible, so we are changing the release plans for this week. All 3 RC channels will instead get the version that was originally planned to only go to LeTigre: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_RC_LeTigre/12#12.01.06.247303 We apologize for the extra downtime this has caused.
  20. The RC roll scheduled for this morning has been canceled, due to a hardware failure which requires immediate attention.
  21. Hi Ayesha, that discrepancy was a typo in the release notes; 11.12.03.246118 is the real version number for this week's main channel upgrade. I just fixed the references to it in the wiki.
  22. Hi Alexi, the 'Public Server Releases' area at the top-right of http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ lists the schedule of server rolls.
  23. Hi Natales, these mainland sandbox regions are on the Second Life RC KT channel currently: * Sandbox - Weapons testing (no damag * Sandbox Island Extension * Sandbox Newcomb
  24. Updated the release notes this week's BlueSteel: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_RC_BlueSteel/11#11.11.19.245570 The only change here is a fix for SVC-7445, which was introduced by this project.
