Paypal has been a problem for a while now, in the end I made a new account myself with a bank account funding, it worked for increasing the usd balance, not sure yet if it will accept automatic billing

A change on the other side of the sim can change the rounding of terrain hight, this is because terrain hight is made up of 2 numbers, a 256 step hieght number and a 0 to 256 multiplier that effects a 4 by 4 area and these mulipliers in turn get avveraged too. in theory you could have 65536 steps between the center of the sim and the edges but it would look ugly and never the same twice, one step would be about 0.008 m if the land is no higher then 2 meter (18 meter under sea) and 2 meter if using the max land hight of 510 meter. If you use the inworld tools the max landhight would be 255 meter not counting the terraform limits when you are on mainland.

ok I have to thank BradleyH Scout for personaly digging into my problem both for my tickets as the live chat, he actualy just fixed the problem as I logged into the live chat, makes me wonder if Scouts are assigned serries of accounts so you always get the same person or maybe I just got lucky. Anyway he was very polite and profesional and even let me know what the root of the problem was, in this case it was the cronjob that syncronises accounts after the administrative hold was resolved. so congierce support is still working, maybe not as fast anymore as in the past when a linden would show on your land within a few hours after filing a ticket. 

I would like to complain about the ability to complain but I fear my complain about the ability to complain won't make it in the complain department where complains about the ability to complain can be complained... I think

ok finally am able to log into forums and support claims the account is active and should be able to log in after changing the password, did that twice and still no luck logging into the viewer and still get the message that there is a problem with the account and should contact support. The account is no longer visible in groups like it is banned but it is not banned, just on administrative hold, anyone got any other ideas to speed it up until I can try live chat? Everyday I can not get on is costing me money because I can not respond to problems my renters have, even IM to email is not working right now.

sounds like a dynamic IP#, the fastest solution is to turn off your router/modem, wait 10 minutes and turn it back on, this should give you a new IP# and you can log right back in.

Snowstorm is also the basis for nearly all V2 based 3th party viewers just like after 1.23.5 snowglobe became the basis for V1 based viewers. It is the latest "stable" source code.

try resetting your router, your ISP probably has a dynamic IP pool meaning you get a new IP# everytime you turn on the router and you got stuck with an IP# that was banned.

Is there a solution yet for the problem of always logging into the adult hubs when the last location is down? I have payment info on file and adult access enabled so I can go to regions that use it as a griefer prevention etc. but don't want to be greeted by naked avatars with prim bits that are longer then they are themselfs.

I completely agree that there should be some way of tagging minors so that adults (whether we want to or not) will behave appropriately around minors. I would hope that you already behave appropriatly at the sims where you can expect minors to be around, they will only be in pg/g sims so nothing is changing in that regard

If your absolutely sure it cannot be done now, I would love to see the proof though. Because I know back 2 years ago it could be done. It was done to several people including myself. And if LL did fix it, Kudos and I hope other things get fixed. There was a bug about 2 years ago where people would recieve random IMs for other people and as far as I know it was fixed in the next update, I never heard of it happening again after then.

@graphic: do you know the difference between IM and local chat? In case you don't, IM is directly between 2 users, user and group, group and user or object and user, nothing gets send to users or object that are not involved. local chat is chat on channels, here the SIM is involved and these can be intercepted if you or your object is close enough but nobody uses these for private chat simply because IM is more effective, non 0 channels are only used for controling scripts. HTH..

This brings up a few very valid questions. *What are you going to do about the "adult" profiles some residents have on Second Life (Nudity, adult language & situations, advertising for adult business, etc.) Are you planning on safeguarding them from reading adult profiles? Are you going to censor & force residents to change their profiles?
