    Hi there ... I'm looking for someone to make a short sarong for LaraX. It has to be full perm, fishnet, textured white and look really good.

    Hi everyone :) I hope you're all less groggy than I am this morning...

    Anyway, I wanted to mention this last night but didn't feel right making the party about me. And I feel weird doing this. But I'd like to spin once a month at our homestead. Unusual and not always danceable music that's interesting and different. Anyway, I have a group, and no way to get people into it except in person or, maybe, you clicking this link whilst inworld -

    That's it. I'd like to spin on the 21st at our place, an evening of the works of Frank Zappa (bc it's his birthday). The set is especially formulated for the uninitiated, and won't scare anyone, I promise.

    Unlikely. I've given up DJing for the most part. Maybe I can do a set but I have NO holiday music of any sort.

    New Gacha Policy Discussion

    I think this is terrible, for a number of reasons, but if LL thinks they're going to get nailed with a fine or worse then, so be it.

    However, one point I haven't seen made often deals with the rarity of the items - especially when those items are no longer available inworld or on the MP. Most gacha at the Arcade, for example, vanish when the next round comes out. You maybe can find it on the MP for an inflated price, or you take your chances on the machine when it's available. But I have a number of avatar accessories you can no longer find on the MP or get from a gacha, because the gacha is now gone and the copies on the MP have been purchased. They are now irreplaceable as they cannot be found to be bought again.

    And that irreplaceability has an allure all its own - my avatar has a hair or skin or clothing that cannot be had at any price. I've sold complete gacha outfits for 5x what I paid to put them together, *after* the gacha is gone, because there's no other way to get the items then. People will pay what they feel they're worth, and the individuality an item that can't be found elsewhere gives, especially an avatar accessory, is something people will typically pay more for, as I've found.

    So, it appears a Hangout Warming Party™ is in the planning for November 21, 6pm SL. 😮 That's all we have at the moment. I'll spin if there isn't another Cartellian with skillz who wants to entertain. And we need someone to decorate. And someone needs to tell Maureen! Uh, and I don't know what else.
