  1. "I and my girlfriend are the group owners but I am  a Preemie and she is  not. How does this affect us? Is she able to co-own the land by way of  the goup and does she get the 512m free?"

If it is private land as opposed to Linden land/mainland... the 'preemie' rules don't apply, she wouldn't be effected.  You didn't specify if it was mainland or private land however.

  2. "Okay, If there was any way to prove to you I am a fourteen year old, I  would hand it to you. Seriously. But you are going way too far."

We're not the ones you have to prove anything to so ignore it; just someone merely... guessing.  Don't feed the trolls, and don't take 'rules' advice from anyone who is willing to break them just to be a troll.

Move on, and best of luck.

*waves to Theia, hope you're well*

  3. My humble opinion...

Between the Mentor program now gone a critique heard often is there are few places for the unknowing to turn to, and unless you have a premium account help from Support isn't there either, and even Premium people can be heard complaining of a lack of same.

I caught mild flak here for being non-judgemental and for providing answers - but I make no apologies for that.  I don't want SLA turning into a place where people are judged for merely - asking questions or seeking help.  I'm not going to put myself in a midset where I'm judging the person or the merits of the question asked nor will I ever poke fun at those 'how did i get pregnant' threads or suggest some self-described 14yr old girl is really a 40yr old male pedo with a brilliant disguise.  That is not what I want SLA turning into, and I don't always know everything so flaming other people for the same or for screwing up when I myself make 5 mistakes before breakfast seems inane.

Surely people should be able to merely - ask a question; ideally without getting flak for it.   I mean really, to degenerate into a flame war about typos as if we don't all make them  *facepalms*

  4. ok, lets say you're right just for the sake of discussion and you revealed their true age and gender - it's between them and LL bud... don't mess yourself up claiming a good intention too.

food for thought as you report them, and this coming from someone who isn't judging the OP or you for anything, as stated I merely reply to points raised... note what is highlighted in red - rules can be a double-edged sword.  Be cautious in accusing, and avoid speculation that could be entirely incorrect.   Again, just food for thought in the hopes cooler heads will prevail.

The Community Standards sets out six behaviors, the 'Big Six',  that will result in suspension or, with repeated violations, expulsion  from the Second Life Community.

All Second Life Community Standards apply to all areas of Second  Life, the Second Life Forums, and the Second Life Website.

    1. Intolerance

Combating intolerance is a cornerstone of Second Life's  Community Standards. Actions that marginalize, belittle, or defame  individuals or groups inhibit the satisfying exchange of ideas and  diminish the Second Life community as a whole. The use of derogatory or  demeaning language or images in reference to another Resident's race,  ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation is never allowed in  Second Life.

    2. Harassment

Given the myriad capabilities of Second Life, harassment can  take many forms. Communicating or behaving in a manner which is  offensively coarse, intimidating or threatening, constitutes unwelcome  sexual advances or requests for sexual favors, or is otherwise likely to  cause annoyance or alarm is Harassment.

    3. Assault

Most areas in Second Life are identified as Safe. Assault in  Second Life means: shooting, pushing, or shoving another Resident in a  Safe Area (see Global Standards below); creating or using scripted  objects which singularly or persistently target another Resident in a  manner which prevents their enjoyment of Second Life.

    4. Disclosure

Residents are entitled to a reasonable level of privacy with  regard to their Second Life experience. Sharing personal information  about a fellow Resident --including gender, religion, age, marital  status, race, sexual preference, and real-world location beyond what is  provided by the Resident in the First Life page of their Resident  profile is a violation of that Resident's privacy. Remotely monitoring  conversations, posting conversation logs, or sharing conversation logs  without consent are all prohibited in Second Life and on the Second Life  Forums.

  5. Attitude only gets attitude in return... a lesson to be learned.

Lesson two - don't mess-up cause all that does is give people the right to say 'you messed up' and its you that allowed that to happen.

Take the advice, fix the mess, and leave this thread behind cause now you're not a 14yr old girl who wanted to attend a hogwarts thing, according to some your an old guy who does bad things in real life.  Such is life on the sl forum, get used to that too lol.

  6. ffs.

I am not her parent, i'm not going to pretend to act like her parent. Whatever issues she has remains... between her and her parents.

In ALL cases I will not judge anyone - between LL & God (in this case her parents) the sitting in judgement position has already been filled and I don't need the self-imposed drama of deciding anyone elses wrongs given the above.

ps, the info i provided is public record a 2second internet search provided the OP has complete access to.

    Last comment - read this:

"This sounds like some fishy lie. The OP is can no be a 14 yr old and def  not a female. He sounds like some old dude who did some bad stuff in SL" -

Complete and utter speculation - all of a sudden a thoughtless 14yr old girl is a aged pedo or w/e.  Which is where judging without knowing gets us, and i refuse to take the bait.

  7. "I find it stunning HOW people are actually trying to help this 14 year  old who messed up. Shame on all of you! "

Maturity comes in many forms; adults are not immune to messing up either - often times with good intention; age is relevant only to LL, not myself in reply; speaking personally i'm not here on SLA to judge anyone but merely  answer questions as posed, fact is I can tell the difference between utter frustration and attitude.

No shame felt here, no belittling either.  She messed up, big deal - show me someone that hasn't on the odd occasion.

  8. It isn't a question about maturity Nuesha.

Firstly in signing up as you did you broke the very first rule of the ToS; it doesn't matter what your intentions were... you took a shot and you lost.  Granted you are remorseful for it unfortunately that doesn't matter after the fact.

When all is said and done here, you're still going to have to send LL proof of your identity.  Whether or not fax's are in wide use where you live isn't LL's issue, it remains your problem to solve.... that said I have no doubt you'll find one if you look hard enough.

Best of luck.  Just deal with what you gotta deal with - you got yourself into this mess and I have no doubt you'll dig your way out.

  9. but i was wondering what will happen to the inventory of the people  living on the sim .. will it be returned??  >> the items are stored on LL servers so yes they can get the items back.

and in what time table? >>by LLs timetable combined with it depends on when the people submit tickets asking for their stuff back, there exists plenty of precidences whereby LL will open a closed sim long enough for people to retrieve their items.

about the last remark, that is not fully correct since you say the  lindens never make mistakes than? >> so, LL was mistaken in closing this sim?  I'd be curious as to how, cept I'm not really overly interested past questioning how they could close a sim by accident - usually there's a reason.

  10. Nobody can mess with you're avatar unless they have access to your account, chances of someone logging into your account from your own home the result of you saving your password is a possibility you can best answer - chances of someone from any other location accessing your account is extremely remote.

Secondlife is full of surprises that defy explanation; people have logged wearing items they hadn't worn and at a place they've not been to in weeks like sl deja-vu; back in the day if you weren't rezzed property your av would visibly be an 'ugly woman' called Ruth and after a bad tp you're hair and shoes would be up your a** - quite the disturbing visual indeed.  SL just does bizarre stuff sometimes and that's whayt i'm thinking happened to you.

Time will tell and will be your answer - if it was a one time glitch you have a story to tell your prim kids someday, if it's a reoccuring issue then you'll know something is amiss.  Change your password to a real tough one and just take the usual safeguarding of your account; if premium submit a ticket under Technical advising you are concerned you account was compromised.

  11. "but when I logged into the sim Pooley as recommended my avatar is now  visible and my inventory loaded fully and can interact with it...but  only on this sim."

    *waves to chiz*

Change your debug settings to prevent your avi from being a particle cloud by following this step when inworld:

Click on the Advanced Menu at the top of the screen. If it is not next to the Help menu, press ctrl+alt+D to make it show

Select Debug settings.....a small window will open. select "RenderUnloadedAvatar" from the drop down box and then set it to "True"
