  1. The closest to an answer I've found... according to SL Community Standards... http://secondlife.com/corporate/cs.php All Second Life Community Standards apply to all areas of Second Life, the Second Life Forums, and the Second Life Website. Reporting Abuse Residents should report violations of the Community Standards using the Abuse Reporter tool located under the Help menu in the in-world tool bar. We review these abuse reports, and the identity of the reporter is kept strictly confidential.
  2. Thank you all, question answered, points awarded, author appreciative
  3. I do know there is merit for an AR report for abuse, the question is in addition to that for my own curiousity and general interest, is a person releaving their own personal information in such a manner allowed under the TOS. I know its against the TOS to reveal other peoples rl info... can a person reveal their own personal info in this manner.
  4. This is the flip-side of the "can i be punished for revealing someone elses personal stuff in-world'... what if someone reveals their own personal information in the manner described below... The senario, a group of guys verbally harassing a woman who's minding her own business -  take you're home State off your profile cause it's an embaressment to everyone else who lives in that State, you're fat, you're ugly, harpoons come to mind, i feel sorry for your husband...    Wife doesn't bite, chooses discretion, instead IMs sl partner who in turn IMs main instigator suggesting they hush, it's harrassment, not allowed, why not everyone just walk away... Main instigator IMs husband giving his address saying 'come over...'  (a 'cmon over if you wanna do something about it') Is that form of revealing personal stuff allowed ?  The wife has a right to file an AR obviously for what happened to her... does the wife's partner also have grounds to file an AR ? Thanks in advance
  5. HAHAHA, that's hilarious. Go to your inventory, open the gestures folder, look for a gesture that is called "back" (ideally it'll be titled something like that) and deactivate it. If you can't find it by looking, rightclick your gestures one at a time, select "open" then "preview" and do a process of elimination to find it. This is a gesture, plain and simple... its merely the way its activately that makes it different "in the true sense". Some gestures are activated by a trigger (ie you type in /back for it to work)... in this case though this "BACK DAT ASS UP" one is activated as you are painfully aware simply by typing 'back'. If you want this gesture and its modifyable - just change the trigger to /back instead of back. Hope that helps Message was edited by Unklebob.Hotaling. Reason: typo (unkle speels very goodly)
