Don't click that link asking you to reset your password if its concerning... problem solved phishing emails asking you to click a link and provide into are a dime-a-dozen, its a cause and effect thing, if you don't do it you're not giving your info away... you've aleady done the right thing but if you're still concerned about it being compromised go through the LL website to change your password.

*waves greetings* k, your avatar is whats called "ghosted" inworld due to a logout that didn't quite happen properly... it happens on the odd occasion. one solution is to turn your modem off, disconnect the wires from the back of the modem totally disconnenting it... leave it like that for 10ish seconds, plug everything back in, turn it back on... restart your computer (this resets the modem and intenet link) and try logging in. if still no joy send in a support ticket noting what i've highlighted in red, mention that your avatar is ghosted inworld even though you've logged out. best of luck Tickets for Basic and Guest Accounts Some issues are best resolved by submitting a ticket to our support staff, but we don't currently offer full support ticket access to Basic account holders or Guests (visitors who don't yet have Second Life® accounts). As a manager of a club myself I'd never ban someone on something as flimsy as a notecard i know full well could be faked, I prefer to judge people based on their actions, not someone elses opinion of that person... what was I thinking. How dare I suggest otherwise and that shouldn't happen, to anyone... colour me an idiot for thinking that and whats going on is a little inane. My 2cents worth before I totally avoid this thread in it's entirety. What was going on inworld obviously sucks, why you'd want to bring it here to the forum god only knows, the fact this isn't the place for it (as if inworld was either) should be painfully as obvious to you as it is to everyone who reads this... so lick your wounds, go your seperate ways, grow the hell up if you need to and stop dropping YOUR drama on our doorsteps. How old are you people? Idiots abound, get used to it... the only people who listen to idiots are bigger idiots. It amazes me that 'adults' actually do the things described here, it blows me away even more there are people who'd take that seriously and react to it... if it were my 8yr old roommates kid i'd slap him upside if his head. No, you're dealing with several idiots actually. Being a club manager I can't imagine banning ANYONE from a club, cause someone else told me to. I mean how weak of a club owner or manager who does that... as a manager I'd be banning the person causing drama, not the victim of said drama. LOL banning people before the club even opens without having done a thing wrong or said a word, there's a wise business strategy... and people wonder why some clubs don't last 2 months. Never encountered it but it is possible, albeit very confusing. I got my Unlebob that's obviously a guy av, that said i've been to crossdressing events so i got female stuff in my inventory... i suppose if my RL roommate and I wanted to share the Unklebob account we could. It's feasable; confusing as hell to everyone else, but feasable.

To get property on the mainland yes you need a premium account, you are getting land from the Lindens and they require a premium account to do so... you do not need a premium account however to get land from anyone else, example with a basic account you can get land just the same - just not throught the Lindens. My second question is if I do need that type of account can I buy my land with L%? >> that depend also on the 'coventant'; fancy word for the conditions you're agreeing to in getting the land. You can find land from people who are willing to take both lindens or 'cash'... usually if you pay with rl funds you get a better deal (as it saves the other party from having to convert the lindens themselves) My third question is once I have my land can I put an already built house on my land? >> yupyup, and furnish it, make a garden, w/e My fouth question is, if I can put my house on that land will it be removed ? >> not unless you wanted to remove it for whatever reason or you fell behind in tiers and your land got reclaimed (you get kicked off). ...you have to 'buy' the land; that's a one-time thing - and there are 'tiers' on top of that (fancy word for land taxes) that are due either weekly or monthly depending on your covantent. Let's say you had a basic account with about 3000L burning a hole in your pocket as we speak, if you wanted you could click the 'search' button inworld, enter 'land for sale', and find a piece of property (approx 1000L would get a piece big enough for a house and nice yard/beach) and have enough for your first week of tiers (approx 2000L) and have a house on it within 15minutes... as easy as that.

Actually when I was new to SL I knew a woman DJ who was totally awesome; when I found out in time she was a he I was soooo blown away. Did I think it was against the ToS or anything as extreme... no... but I can see where if someone's totally new is does come as a suprise. We don't know the whole story either, depending on how the OP found out she might be rightfully offended - example if the truth was revealed at say a lesbian club where guys are expressly not allowed to be at. Besides, this is the place to ask... better they find out 'no harm, no foul' here than filing an AR cause they don't know any differently.
