You could try searching out clubs with live acts if you like the performer and if their profile doesn't indicate a preferred way to book them, drop them a notecard after the show expressing your interest in hiring them for your own event

On the subject of advertising the only places i've seen any form of advert for SL is on SL related blogs and sites and it was the ad that showed off people with their RL selves. I never saw any advertising around the web before i joined, i had to rely on SL being mentioned on TV and magazines to know it existed. i've seen more advertising for rival platform IMVU online and in stores that sell their gift cards i never tried it because it came across as being somewhere for kids/teens

If you haven't tried to go yet being full won't be an issue it's four regions and between me and the alt I only saw a handful of people there. The gift vendors allow you to gift to yourself, they also do anonymous gifting if you don't want the person to know who the gift was from

If you take off your body alpha layer and activate BoM in the new HUD assuming your head uses the same skin tone as your body skin it will match you don't really need to worry about fine tuning the colour in the advanced section. in BoM mode you can still use alpha cuts and the "onion skin" applier attachments you just need to detatch the applier layers if using system clothing.

If you really want to stop someone pushing you around and griefing you, use force ground sit or right click and sit on the ground works every time when it used to happen to me i'd do the force ground sit i'd stop in my tracks and the griefer would be there still trying to grief me until they were automatically sent home

I do watch YouTube but not specifically for SL content i mostly go by the videos it recommends me if i'm not looking up something specific

Some add-on's you really don't need to wear unless your going to indulge in a bit of 'adult playtime' or in certain regions where it's allowed to be on show. most of the time other body parts slot in to place after a couple of minutes tops

Creators that give their products counter intuitive names, I knew i had the thing i wanted in inventory searched couldn't find it. as i had got it off the marketplace i was able to get a re-delivery so i could find out what it was actually called

The new TMP Legacy body isn't a free upgrade for existing TMP users, instead where other brands give out free upgrades they rather generously allow you to pay L$2500 instead of the regular L$5000 retail price to get the new body

I saw it when I first logged in it was too big for a 1024 it was straddling at least one other home and encroaching inside, owner around a month old so if a genuine newbie may not have known they were doing something wrong. While still on map/mini map it has now been removed

Those in the know would use SL Namewatch if they wanted a specific last name to find a third party registration portal that would give them the name they wanted. From LL quite a list was available some last names were retired after short time like mine, some were active for years. If you didn't like the list refresh the page and a new list of names would come up

You can still earn L$ in the realms from what i'm aware through the chatter in the Linden Realms unofficial group you now need to have "Payment info on File" to cash out crystals with out you can only get L$50 a week.

This may be viewer dependant, but on Firestorm you can see which friends have allowed you to locate them on the map

If it's "Banebury" where the track splits in two that you're getting flipped back at, when you reach it stop your train right click > edit and manually move it on to the straight track and you'll continue on your way to Campwich Forest just after the station before getting flipped back. you'll have to manually move your train again if you want to go past Campwich
