User Groups and OH are to Appease.
The Facts and Issues are on the pages of Jiras and Forum and have been over and over again for months.
This person is totally content with skipping the entire appeasement process (really don't care who shows for it anymore) and heading straight for the Get R Done Stage based on all the feedback that is already on the pages.

Sell G-rated stuff with G-rated words or deal with your market being cut in half. Those look like the options.
Might want to clean up your comments a tad, or sell nothing at all.

The ability to cross list items in up to 3 categories. (those selling holiday items that might work for other things could list these in more than one section. ie. a Valentines cake could be listed in the holiday section, decorations, and under food type items as well.
Expanding on this - yes, this is very important, and in the meantime was willing to pay for this, by running an enhancement in the second category. Unless I've got some kind of a glitch going on - - this is not possible either.
Example is a Valentine's living room set, which has to be run timely and effectively for a brief period - - plugged in an enhancement to run it in the Home and Garden section, which would be a regular category. Then went to run the enhancement in the Valentine section, and enhancement features would not give the opportunity to run it in another category like that - only other options were to run it on home page or some checkout pages. Major blow on that promotion by not getting in that valentine section first. And this applies to all kinds of items, not just seasonal items.
If there is no intention of offering the ability to list in multiple categories as part of a free listing - - (some) people would certainly be willing to pay for that option, and in some cases it's absolutely required for effective promotions. Again, unless I've got a glitch going on - - it just isn't possible the way your enhancement options are set up. If it is possible - it certainly was not a user friendly process - tried frantically to get that done - just would not give another category option.
If the reason that running in multiple categories is not allowed has to do with abuse...understandable...but willing to pay for the second and third categories as a regular listing as well, not necessarily a featured listing, but a one time fee that lasts for the duration, probably discouraging abuse. Actually think that offering these options would cut down on people sticking items in root categories to be flagged. I would choose 3 "acceptable to the flaggers" categories over a root category any day.
We could sell a lot more stuff with these options.

Encourage you not to be discouraged with last week's OH comments, and please look into using twitter for communication.
It meets all the requirements - Fast - Easy - Fun
Second Life people DO use it for a very effective and timely form of communication. Plus it reaches many, many potential users. Good PR - people are mostly nice there. If they're not nice - you simply skim over, and no one will ever know. (as opposed to forums)

THAT is my concern on all those products that we have listed with blog links, and links from other sources. When I clicked that, got the warning - adjusted - and nothing - no product - sent to a main page.
This will be a dilemma for those who do major promotions, and rely on that product link going directly to product.

No email, and always get an email. Not sure that it matters, though...that email should have been sent much earlier, so that people could adjust their finances and prepare. Couple days doesn't get it. Others are impressed with communication. I'm not, and not going to suck up in that manner.
Have joked around about the LL Bombs always being dropped on Thursdays. Some times it's not all that funny.
It's the last weekend of the month. SL Tier fees are due on the first, and for some RL tier fees due on the first, as well. Some rely on that last weekend rather heavily. Not affected personally on that with this round, but understand that with many other rounds in the past.
Looking at some of the keywords tossed out. Major marketing tools. Since people are scrambling to get in gear on short notice...doubt that the concerns about the loss on that level is kicking in just yet.

probably not a bad tactic to toss a rather large preserver (8 paragraphs?) to the captain first, though! (particularly if captain has email notify set). sly...unfortunately a bit too obvious. amazing how people's senses and reflexes are on heightened alert during a disaster

As I said in that thread shortly before it got removed, It might be an idea for someone to start such a list on their own external blog if they have the time and inclination. Such a list is always going to get removed from here due to the content which is by very nature going to breech the PG / General content requirement of these forums.
Having said that, it would be handy if LL could somehow find a way to publish the list in a location that can only be accessed by age verified accounts or something. I guess its a bit of a Catch 22 for them - they probably don't want to publish it to give the cheaters a way to figure out how to still get their clearly adult content as PG by cleverly avoiding the keywords, but then again unless we know the keywords its hard for the sensible majority to use keywords correctly.
Suella....you've been to the general discussion area. That list does not even come close to what rolls through the content there. Not even close.

Public parts of LL properties are considered General by default, including the forums. Discussions that themselves push the limit of General will most likely get put here, assuming more adult conversation is allowed in the Merchants Roundtable.
Something like the keywords list would most likely get deleted because it is in itself, not General by mentioning adult words and thus violates the rating to the forums themselves. I'd expect post content to at some point also come under the Maturity Ratings.
If that were the case, then there would be ZERO threads running in the General Discussion area

Looks like all Censorship topics were moved in one sweep.
There is going to be a ton of merchants who need help over the weekend with this - who do not have access to this forum. Not sure if they will be able to get access by the weekend.

Not particularly pleased with this method and message.
