  2. Just awesome, nice find and thanks for link. I bought an ASUS GeForce GTX680 last year and I now feel dated.

But, 90% of all accidents happen in the home so it's probably safest to stay at work where your employer will have insurance and health and safety regulations to protect you. 4. Nice for sure, but it still fails like other RL simulation games with the human face/skin. Already games manufacturers are working on Separable SubSurface Scattering (SSS/SSSS), which will really up the wow factor. Here's a short demo clip and it's best viewed in HD. Of course this feature will not only enhance the realism of skin, but many other textures too. I did have an even more awesome clip of a short story line of an android being born as a teaser clip for some game that was on Vimeo. I can't find that, but I posted the link to Celestial Nightfire at the time so maybe if she's read

  6. Because it has only been rolled out to LeTigre sims so far and I guess you may not be on one of those sims or visited one yet.

Probably a lolcat, the intellectual equivalent in forum debates of introducing a 5 minute banjo solo into Beethoven's I imagine a court scene one day and the defendant addresses the court thus, "Having had my evidence trashed by the prosecution I have today fired my legal team. I feel that I do not have the necessary mental faculties to adequately represent myself further in this case and with the court's permission I would like my case to henceforth be presented by

And that from a company who I pay directly in excess of US$1500 a year. That is intolerable. I'm afraid I will not be contributing any more to these forums unless they correct this utter travesty of customer service. Noooooooooooooooo, we'd only have to come and find you and knock on your new material door if you did. Try this for a fix, there should be a solution for you in there somewhere, hopefully. http://commun
  9. Lol, I've been away enjoying myself in SL all night having a good time and meanwhile you've had the good sense to take a crash course in English and can all of a sudden write reasonably legibly and have learned some basics of grammar too! What an amazing transformation from the illiterate sockpuppet(s) who was posting earlier? I'm glad to see that you took my advice and upped your game in the second half. Now instead of hiding behind alts and pretending to be illiterate or an ESLr why couldn't you stand up with your main in the first place and argue your point? I mean you've obviously ha

That's confusing did you mean Hear it also is spelled heer in old greek means to listen to something: to listen to somebody or something but remember we are just dumb 2ndlife people to you so no biggie right?:smileyvery-happy: Oh dear, I like it when people embarrass themselves without any prompting and my words are proven so correct. Thank you proved my point better than I could possibly have hoped for. Please can we carry
  11. I'm happy in all grids, which is exactly what I wrote and also glad that anyone else might be happy where they are. Maybe I need to write in bigger letters for some people here or draw a picture as the written word seems to confuse them.
  12. Wow, you're a real whacko job aren't you. You're really taking this, "Your world, your imagination" to heart. I bet you still got some gems left though rattling around in that ol' head of yours. Want to share them? The floor is yours and I'm ready to be entertained as I can see now that we've reached the half-time show. Lets have a quick reprise of your first-half performance shall we. Well it didn't start too well did it with an early ad hominen opening attack, which I hope that you can substantiate, that basically showed where you were coming from for the rest of your plays and kinda r
  13. Maelstrom Janus wrote: Lets reserve judgment on that shall we...right now none of the viewers Im using seems to be doing a good job... Well I share your sentiments. Somebody said, "Lucky you" to LeTigre residents earlier, which I thought should rather have been "Good luck LeTigre".
  14. Well I'm glad you're at least still posting here and that you are also happy wherever it maybe that you've landed; care to share where? :smileywink:
  15. I didn't say you were "off topic". I said that you were wrong, misrepresented the only two facts that you put forward, were woefully incomprehensive in your assessment and showed a lack of knowledge about the entire topic. I hope I've made that clearer for you now. Although all movements appreciate their zealous defenders I think it could only be embarassing for any supporter of LL/SL that your main feature is a personalised ad hominen attack on owner of another grid. Add to that your erroneous facts, lack of knowledge and it's hard to look at your post other than something of a pissy rant
  16. I believe that SSB will be rolled out tomorrow on Le Tigre so if you are resident, working or visiting there then you will need the latest LL or FS viewer.
  17. Lol yes. Even the Lab is not that short-sighted.
  18. Qarl Linden selling LL secrets? You mean the Mesh Deformer project that LL didn't implement when mesh was introduced? The project that was devised and funded by independent residents who asked the ex-LL employee Qarl to develop? The project, which when finished was offered to LL for free, but yet they have still not implemented it? And now you get all pissy because somewhere else has offered a home for it when LL drag their feet? Furthermore, LL didn't invent materials. It's a graphics feature that is used widely in all video games and LL have now decided to implement it when I would sug
  19. Leia36 wrote: We have been discussing this inworld and there is a fix in Firestorm. Preferences>Firestorm>Protection and click the radio button under the Revoke Permissions section, then when you sit or stand, all permissions are revoked. Many thanks t Damiel for the help  Is this correct though, it kinda contradicts what Qie said in his post above. I thought permissions could never be revoked and that the FS feature was another version of "stop all animations". I would be happy to see that you're correct though.
  20. Most ad programs profile the individual user so in all likelihood the ads that you saw on your screen were what the ad program knows from your browsing history that you are particulary interested in. This of course would not apply to the "people" of LL who may have other completely different browsing interests than your own particular interests that you've exhibited. [ETA] I said "most" ad programs, I should have said all.
  21. Firestorm, anyone who says different is a LL fanboi or has a fetish that only a particular TPV can satisfy.
  22. Well amazingly you are the first person in this whole thread and the other one currently going who has actually said you won't be able to carry on after SSB. So many quoted examples of people leaving and you are the first to speak up, bravo to you! Well I earnestly feel sorry for you not being able to upgrade your computer in the last 5 years or not being able to afford a 5 yr old computer. I am sure there are many valid reasons, which you do not have to explain here to people who are more fortunate than you. No doubt your SL friends will miss you in SL, but you still have FB, email and ma
  23. Check with the inworld FS group. You are more likely to get a dev answer or find out that the issue has been noted/solved. I don't think a clean install was required for this new release, but you might want to try it anyway.

Oh yes please ... maybe shift-eyedropper to copy all three maps plus shiny spinners, offsets and repeats? That would be a big timesaver. Gets my vote! Now what about Ctrl Shift eyedropper, Ctrl Alt eyedropper and Ctrl Shift Alt eyedropper while we're at it for a complete feature set?
