  1. Greetings! If you are getting the Page Not Found error message when clicking on the Listed or Unlisted link from your Manage Listing page, the issue is caused by a malformed URL and the Engineers are working to fix the issue as quickly as possible. When you click on the Unlisted link (for example) this is how the URL is showing: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/merchants/NUMBER/store/products.NUMBER?page=1&product_state=unlisted (NUMBER is your own MKT Store ID Number) The store information after the word 'products' in the URL should not be there. If you remove the .NUMBER (dot & number) from the URL it will work: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/merchants/NUMBER/store/products?page=1&product_state=unlisted
  2. Greetings! The Engineers are aware of an issue affecting some Merchants after performing a lot of actions on the Marketplace. This is normally seen after merchants bulk redelivered a lot of items to their customers and a post is on the SL Grid Status report page, located here: https://status.secondlifegrid.net/ If you are experiencing this issue, even if you are not a Merchant, please submit a Support Ticket using the options: Marketplace - General Marketplace Issues Include the following information in your Support Ticket: Affected Avatar Name Are you a merchant: Y/N The URL where you first received the Error Message What actions were you doing when the error message happened?. For example, where you trying to list an item, redeliver a product to users, pull a sale history report, etc. If you are experiencing the issue with multiple accounts, for example both your main account and one of your alt accounts, please include the name of the alt in the same ticket. It is not necessary to create a separate ticket for each affected account. Thank you for your patience while the Engineers work to investigate the issue as quickly as possible and for your cooperation in providing Support with the above information if you are also affected.
  3. Thank you, Oz, for everything you brought to Second Life and everything you have contributed to the platform. Your experience has been an excellent asset to Linden Lab and Second Life and you will be missed by a great many people. May your next adventure bring you as much satisfaction as this one has and may you always look back on this time with fond memories as we will remember you with the same. Be well, friend.
  4. Hi, Milly MacIntyre Personally, I would recommend creating a Fat Pack Version of the items and use that Fat Pack Listing to link to the Demo Item. You can then use the Related Items on both the Demo and the Fat Pack listings to link to the other versions/colors. For instance, if you are selling a Jacket in 6 different colors, create a Fat Pack that offers all of the colors together. Then create a Demo Listing for the Jacket. Link that Fat Pack listing to the Demo and in the Related Items on both the Fat Pack and the Demo Listing add the individual listings for all of the listings for the individual colors.
  5. Greetings! Linking Demo Listings to the Full Version of the item can be confusing. If you Edit a listing, the field option is "Add Demo" not "add Full Listing". This means that the Demo has to be linked to the Full Version using the Full Version Item Listing itself and not the other way around. Edit the listing for the Full Version and in the field for Add Demo, link the listing to the Demo Listing for the product. If you try to link the items using the Demo Listing, the Demo Listing itself will say "get demo item" instead of "Get full Version" and you wont be able to link a demo listing to a demo listing.
  6. Greetings, All! If you receive notification that a banned word is included in the keywords in "all languages", please make sure you are actually checking ALL languages and not just the default language. Many sellers forget that the Marketplace offers 6 localized languages and once a listing has been created, updating information on one language tab does not automatically update the other language tabs. All 6 language tabs must be updated manually. This is done so that sellers can translate the information for each tab, if they so choose, and the information is not overwritten each time they update the language tab information. For instance, if your primary language is English, but you want to include a German translation of the information on the German Language tab, if you added the German Language translation to your listing, then the system would automatically overwrite the English Language information with the German Language information if listings where set to auto update all languages when any changes to one language were made and the listing information would show up in German for all of your customers, even if they were viewing the Marketplace in English. Currently, users who view the Marketplace in Non English usually end up seeing everything in English anyway since the vast majority of sellers do not set up localized translations of the content they are selling.
  7. Greetings, All! Based on the comments in this thread, the items would be removed for being Non Items - Real World Goods or Services. If you have Email Notifications enabled for actions on a listing, then you should have been sent an email with the additional information on why the item or items were removed. The way to get around the restriction in the Listing Guidelines, is to sell the in world images themselves so that the buyer gets the picture in world, and then include a notecard that is delivered with the items that includes a link to the web delivery portal where the buyer can download the high quality version of the image as well, if they want.
  8. Greetings, All! If the item is Copy Enabled for the seller, then they will not get a Stock Folder when they send the item to the Marketplace. If a user creates an item and sends it to the Marketplace, they will not get a Stock Folder option since they, themselves, created the item and they will always have Copy permissions on the item. If the item is No Copy for the seller, then when they send the item to the Marketplace the Stock Folder will show up.
  9. Greetings, All! Delivery issues are completely and totally outside of the control of the seller. Items that have Automatic Redelivery enabled on the listing the buyer can request redelivery of the item without having to report the failed delivery. If a buyer is reporting a Failed Delivery, you can and should flag the review. There is an exact report for such reviews as well. * Click the Flag this review link and then choose the options Off Topic - Reporting Failed Delivery Reviews that are personal opinions of the buyer about the item itself are usually not removed from the listing unless the comments specifically violate any Second Life Policy. For instance, a buyer can review a listing and say that they do not like the item and the review will not be removed. However, if the buyer says they do not like the items and the seller is a jerk (or whatever) the review will be removed since the buyer is making derogatory comments about the seller themselves and not just the item that they purchased. If an item is being sold Full Permission, for instance, textures or furniture, and the seller includes a sample that is not Full Permission, and a buyer leaves a review reporting that the item is not full permission because included sample is not full permission, the seller can report the review as being Off Topic - Issue Already Noted in the Item Description. As long as the seller actually does state in the Item Description that the included sample is NOT full permission and lists the permissions of the sample item, and the review will be removed from the listing since it is clearly Off Topic and the description stated the information that the buyer has noted in their review.
  10. Greetings All! Keywords must be appropriate to the item being sold in the listing. If the item is Silver Earrings, then Silver Earrings can be in the keywords and it is not considered Keyword Spam. It might be redundant and a waste of the character limits on the Keyword section, but it is not considered Keyword Spam under the Marketplace Listing Guidelines. * If you receive a message about an item that was unlisted or removed/blocked, then the item was flagged and a member of the Governance Team unlisted the item, which triggered the notification message. If you have Notifications enabled for actions on a listing, then you should also be sent an email to the email address on file for your account where you can review the email which will include the reason why the item was unlisted. ** If an item was unlisted for being in an Incorrect Category then the appropriate category will be included in the email notification. ** If an item was unlisted for Keyword Spam the words that triggered the unlisting are NOT included in the email. The email just advises the seller that the item was unlisted for Keyword Spam. If you review the default English language tab on the listing and do not see anything obvious, make sure you are checking the other language tabs as well since each language tab can have different information. If you are unsure why the item was unlisted, you can submit a Support Ticket using the options for Marketplace - Marketplace Listing Issues and a CSR will be happy to review the listing and provide you with additional information. * The Marketplace Listing Guidelines specifically state that an item listing should be placed into the "most appropriate category for the item". Items /can/ have more than 1 category that would be considered "most appropriate". Gacha items are both the item itself and a Gacha item. As long as the item is in the "most appropriate" category for the item itself, then it is not considered to be in an incorrect category. But it MUST be in the "most appropriate" sub-category. If a Gacha listing for a couch is in the top level Home and Garden - Furniture category it is NOT in the most appropriate category, since there is a sub-category for Couches. The same with Gacha clothing. If a listing for a skirt is placed into the top level Women Apparel » Women's » Women's Bottoms category and not in the Apparel » Women's » Women's Bottoms >> Women's Skirts then it is in an incorrect category. As stated in the Marketplace Listing Guidelines, "Do not post items in the "Top Level" categories such as Apparel, Home & Garden, etc. unless there is not an appropriate sub-category that applies."
  11. Hello! Currently there is no way to see on the Marketplace itself what revenue you are receiving as a collaborator on a sellers items. When you actually receive L$ from a collaboration, you can view information in your main L$ Funds Transaction Log available through your Second Life Dashboard on the main SL web site (https://secondlife.com) and an email should be sent to the email address on file for your account when you receive the profit split. If you wish to have a similar page available for receivers of Revenue Distributions available on the Marketplace, we would encourage you to attend the Web User Group where you can submit your request directly to the team members who Manage and Maintain the Marketplace itself. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:User_Groups http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Web_User_Group
  12. Greetings! If the image itself on the listing does not show "bits", meaning female nipples, including any of the areola, are not visible, then the listing does not need to be set to the Adult Maturity Rating. In fact, the Marketplace Listing Guidelines do not even require the listing to be set to the Moderate/Mature rating either. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/listing_guidelines https://marketplace.secondlife.com/listing_guidelines#adult-guidelines
  13. Greetings, All! Friendly reminder * Do not post RL images. * Do not post images with Nudity * Do not post images with sexually explicit content
  14. Greetings, All! 2020 has already been rough as it is, please TRY to be nice to each other. I know it is a hard ask, but try. If you are starting to post a comment, stop, take a breath, and ask yourself "is this worth possibly getting suspended for"? If the answer is no, then do not post the comment. If the answer is yes, I strongly recommend not making the post and instead taking a break and going and sitting outside in the sun for 20 minutes and getting a bit of Vitamin D.
  15. Greetings! All Off Topic posts have been removed from this thread.
  16. Hi Bonehart, The very first item you list on the Marketplace has to be "drag and dropped" to the Marketplace Listings UI window. 1. Open the Marketplace Listings UI Window (Me - Marketplace Listings) 2. Open your main SL Inventory window (Cntrl + I) 3. Locate the item you wish to send to/list on the Marketplace, click on it, and while holding down your mouse button, drag it to the Marketplace Listings window Once you have done that with the first item, you can then right click on any other items in your inventory and the Send or Copy to Marketplace options will open up on the menu.
  17. Greetings! Please submit a Marketplace Support Ticket regarding this issue as it appears to be a bug. Codex isn't banned, as noted by the search results, and when searching your own listings through the Manage Listings page, any listings with that term should show up, if they do not, then there may be a bug or issue. Submitting the Marketplace ticket will allow us to escalate the issue to the Engineers for investigation.
  18. Greetings! Avatar Accessories are for items that are added or attached to your avatar that do not actually change your avatar itself. Think of accessories you would buy in any clothing store. Jewelry, watches, wigs, brooches, sun glasses, hats, etc. A pose stand would not be considered an accessory that you would wear. The SLExchange/XstreetSL Marketplace put Pose Stands in the Business - Retail section since most pose stands at that time were used by merchants & businesses to allow their customers to test or "try on" a pose before purchasing the item. If you believe that Pose Stands should be located in another section of the Marketplace, for instance under the Gadgets category, then we encourage you to file a Jira ticket and request that the category choice for Pose Stands be updated. The Web/Marketplace team will log all Marketplace Category requests and at some point in the future, when enough valid requests have been made, another Marketplace Category Update will be scheduled for implementation.

  22. Greetings all! We are sorry for the inconvenience that this is causing. If you need an item redelivered, please submit a Support Ticket under Marketplace - Failed Marketplace Delivery (Even if you got the item originally, but just want a copy redelivered to you) and provide us with the MKT Order Number and the Name of the item and a Customer Support Agent will be happy to redeliver the item (as long as the seller has enabled Automatic Redelivery on the product)
