    Social Gambling, that is, a friendly bet/wager, usually between friends, is sometimes regulated differently, depending upon where you live, so it is always advised that you check the regulations in the area where you live. 

    Making a bet between friends may or may not be enforced, depending upon the nature of the betting/wagering, so I would only caution that anyone considering engaging in any type of betting/wagering be aware that it could lead to action against the accounts participating and before engaging in any such activity, to be fully willing to accept any consequences if any such action does happen.

    This already exists. 

    Sellers can update their main Store location SLurl through their Edit Store Information.  

    SLurls on individual listings is for sellers to include an exact landing point for the item itself so that buyers and potential buyers can land at the exact location of the item in world. 

    Those cannot be truly updated in bulk because each of those Slurl location coordinates are different. 

    If or when a seller moves the item in world, if they have an SLurl on the listing for the item, they should update the Slurl on the listing itself. 

    If the seller uses their main store location SLurl on individual listing, the seller can bulk update that SLurl so that they can change/update up to 100 listings at a time, through their Manage Listings page on the Marketplace web site.

    Depression can really sap your motivation and enjoyment. I have been there. 

    SL has something for everyone.  The trick is finding it.  

    I would encourage you to start small.  For instance, if you just want to be around people, but not feel pressured to participate, the Second Life User Groups are actually a pretty good option.  They are ~1 hour in length and you can get some insight into the workings of SL without having to talk to anyone. You can leave any time you want without feeling like people are watching you or wondering who you are, so if you can only handle 15 minutes before you feel like you need to get out, there is no guilt or pressure to stay or participate.

    With the holidays coming up, you could check out the Linden Homes Regions.  Users are starting to really decorate their homes. You do not need to have a paid account to visit Bellisseria and look around.  You can even get a free bicycle or car and ride or drive around on the roads.

    Please submit a Support Ticket using the options Account Issues - Change Account Details. 

    You will be required to verify account ownership and may also be required to provide proof of address, usually a gov issued ID (DL or ID Card, etc) showing your current address.

    Merchants can download a .csv of their Marketplace Sales. 

    Log into the Marketplace web site: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/

    Click on My Marketplace - Merchant home

    In the menu on the left, look for Reports - Orders

    This will take you a separate page where you can download your entire (yes, entire) sales history for all sales through the Marketplace. 

    If you have been a merchant for a long time, or you have a lot of sales, do not try to pull the entire log as one report. It /will/ fail.  We recommend pulling a month to month report only.  Unfortunately, if you do not routinely pull this report ever month or so, it will take a while to generate and then download all the reports for the history of your sales through the Marketplace. 

    This information can then be saved to your own computer and opened in a spreadsheet program that you have on your own computer and/or imported into a cloud based spreadsheet like Google Drive - Sheets where it can be accessed from any internet connected device.

    This is an issue affecting users who are using the viewer and the Marketplace in a Non English language. 

    Marketplace Listings have 2 Required Fields on the English Language localization tab that must be filled out. The system uses the information in the English Language fields as the default across all language options for Product Listings. 

    If the Name field is not filled in on the English Language Localization tab, the system will not be able to list the item.  The viewer will show an error message with the following: "Name in en us can't be Blank". 

    Please check to ensure that the English Language options have been filled in on the Edit Listing page. It may be necessary to change the language option on the viewer itself to English if you are trying to edit the listing through the viewer.

    XstreetSL (originally SL Exchange) always charged commission on sales over 10L. 

    That was how Apotheus made money to keep that version of the Marketplace running.

    We are going to lock this thread since it has run its course. 

    As Keira made very clear, those who were affected by this issue were contacted through the email address on file for their account. 

    If an email address is outdated, or the user chooses not to check the email address linked to their account routinely, then there is a very good chance that they will miss pertinent information regarding their account/s. 

    It behooves users to ensure that they stay informed about their accounts. 

    Information was also posted to Second Life Social Media channels regarding the issue as well.  While we appreciate that not everyone monitors the various Social Media options, again, as a user, it behooves one to at least attempt to stay informed about issues that may affect them or their accounts either by monitoring the Social Media accounts available through their preferred Social Media if they use those apps, monitoring the Blog, or both. 

    Please keep in mind that a very small number of users are/were affected by this issue and due diligence was made to reach out directly to those affected users to alert them. 

    If your own inventory was affected and you have questions or concerns, please file a Support Ticket and an agent on the appropriate team will be able to assist you as quickly as possible. 

    If you believe that Linden Lab should use other means of communication because you do not monitor the existing various channels, please feel free to submit a Jira Feature Request.

    For Marketplace purchases all you have to do is look for the "Automatic redelivery" text on the listing near the permissions information on the right side of the page.

    The Governance Team takes harassment very seriously. Unfortunately, as you have stated, the person keeps creating NEW accounts.  This means that if they keep creating a new account, the new account must be reported before the Governance Team will be able to take any action. 

    The best thing you can do to prevent abuse on a region/parcel is to use the land controls. 

    As Lewis recommended, set the land to group owned land then set the group to Private/Invite only.  The only people who will be able to get onto the land are those in the group. 

    If you want to leave the land open for others to find and explore a bit in order to attract new members, set the object options on the land to Group Only.  This will allow people to visit the land to look around, but if they want to use anything on the land that is scripted, or they want to rez items, etc., they will need to be in the group. 

    You can also set a landing point that is separate from the RP land itself and then purchase a Security System that has the ability to disallow/ban users under a certain day in age, for instance, under 7 days or under 30 days.  

    You can then set a landing point that will force all users to land at the landing point and have the landing point monitored by the security system. Any user who lands there that is under the set age will be automatically ejected/banned from the land. 

    If the person who is harassing your or the users on your land, keeps creating new accounts, they will be auto ejected/banned each time since their new avatar will most likely be under the minimum age requirement you have set on the security system.

    The first time you enable MFA on your account you will need to enter 2 successive codes. 

    When you enable MFA it will ask for the first code.  Open the Authenticator and wait until the code changes to a brand new code. Enter that number

    You will then be prompted to enter the next code. 

    As soon as the code changes on the Authenticator to the next code, enter that next code.

    ANY Marketplace Product Listing that contain nudity must be set to the Adult Maturity Rating, as required by the Marketplace Listing Guidelines. 

    If you are aware of any listings that contain nudity that are not set to the Adult Maturity Rating, please flag the listing so that the issue can be addressed as quickly as possible. 

    No, this is not "snitching" on other users. This is you, the users, helping us, the service provider, keep the Marketplace clean and fair for all users by ensuring that all users continue to play by the same rules.  There are thousands of you, and a very limited number of us, to try to keep the Marketplace clean. 

    Please keep in mind that allowing some nudity on Moderate in world regions is completely separate from a web site since users MUST download the viewer in order to even get in world in the first place before they even manage to visit a Moderate Region that might or might not have content or avatars that may be showing nudity. 

    Anyone selling content on the Marketplace that contains nudity can, of course, add black censor bars or "dots" to any female nipples, such that the nipples and areola's are not visible on the image, or the same to the crotch area, or if male, such that the entire genitals are covered and no part is visible, and the listing could be set to the General Maturity Rating.

    Think of it is as "watermark" that would not be visible on the content that the buyer actually purchases and by doing this, your listing can be set to the General Maturity Rating, garnering more views.

    Unfortunately, do to too much abuse, the ability to reply to reviews was restricted to the Sellers and their authorized store managers.  While we appreciate that many users like to help others by providing information for them in replies, the Marketplace Listing Reviews is not really the appropriate place for such discussions. 

    If you see a review that you believes violates policy, please report the review so that our Governance Team members can review the report as quickly as possible.

    An Abuse Report can be filed at any time through the viewer Help - Report Abuse.  It is not necessary to be standing in front of the user on the region where the behavior happened.  You can always state in the Abuse Report that the reported behavior happened on another region. For instance, if a region crashed, you can report the crash from any region on the grid, but should definitely state in the Abuse Report that the crash happened on ZZZ region and provide the region name. 

    If you need more space than what is available on each Abuse Report, as many additional Abuse Reports may be filed so that you can continue adding additional information. 

    This includes providing screenshots.  Each Abuse Report provides an immediate screen capture. If you need to provide multiple screen captures, submit multiple Abuse Reports so that each one provides the Governance Team with a screenshot. 

    If you are providing a screen capture of a texture, or notecard, PLEASE do not have anything else open at the same time, and try to center the image in the middle of your screen.  The Abuse Report Screen Capture will show the open texture or notecard and will also show the information capture showing who uploaded or created the item and the creation date/time stamp. 

    Providing screen captures with the other users profile, unless reporting the actual profile for a violation, does not assist the Governance Team and can end up obscuring the screen capture. 

    If abuse is happening across multiple accounts, PLEASE file the Abuse Report against the actual account/avatar that engaged in the abusive behavior.  If you believe that the account/avatar that engaged in the behavior being reported is an alt of another account, then add that information into the Abuse Report itself. 

    For Example:

    XXX user was doing YYY.  I believe this is an alt of AAA. 

    This makes it much easier for the Governance Team to quickly pull up the actual account/avatar that is engaging in the reported behavior.
