I have used the feed for posting photos the past few years and it seems to work most of the time. Sometimes it stops working for a while but it always starts working later. The feed has a box at the top that says 'share something' and if you click on it you can type text. To post a photo, you go into your camera and instead of saving to inventory or saving as a file you can save it to the feed. I don't recall any way to add an inventory photo to the feed. I guess you could rez a prim, put your image on it, take a photo and send it to your feed.

I wouldn't do that sort of thing. It's way too much work and it sounds like a boring thing to do.

Thanks all. I have decided to get a ladder bookshelf. It came with items already on the shelves which saves on the prim count. I was also thinking of a cat or some other pet but it would have to be pretty big to take the place of a Christmas tree. There is still a lot of free space in my skybox so I may get some other items that were suggested.

I just remembered I uploaded a pic with my alt and it had the Christmas tree. Need to change the wallpaper. I did consider an exercise bike! Even looked for one in the marketplace but didn't find one that looked right. They all look too modern or futuristic. Maybe an aquarium.

With the holidays over, I will need to take down the Christmas tree. The problem is what to replace it with. Any ideas? A statue? A bookshelf? Surely people have had to do this at the end of Christmas in the past in SL.

Comparing what I've seen in SL and in online games that I've played, SL is not toxic in any sense. I guess one could argue that most online games are about conflict where SL is not and the appearance of conflict in SL is itself an anomaly and therefore toxic.

I think we can go up to movie realistic. Movies are real but everything is fake and staged. All the people are too good-looking. Too real is disappointing. Even people on social media will distort their images to go from real to ideal.

This is my old alt recently upgraded to Catwa and Ebody. Bought a tree and stove at the shop n hop. The antlers are a gift from there too.

I usually create a demo folder for each event I go to. This is useful to remember items I might want in the future. I also use it to figure out when I received the demo and what event the store appears at. Gifts end up in a folder inside the demo event folder. This is a problem as I forget about gifts at every event. I usually find gifts through the inventory search though.

The last time I saw a SL sunrise was today. I was reading this thread and someone posted a picture of the sunrise in SL. I looked at the picture and then I realized that I had to reply that I had seen it. So here it is. My post.

@Dorientje Woller Your avatar looks like a neighbor of mine without the pigtails. I ended up getting the Sasa head. I tweaked it a bit more and it definitely feels like an improved version of my old head.

I have seen this just recently. I run the latest Linden viewer on a medium-low when I am going to shops. I only recall seeing small hands on one female avatar but they were so small that I did focus on them for a little while. Thought it was some new trend at the time because people can do weird things in SL but the girl had normal proportions everywhere else. Reminds of the time male avatars used to revert to a female ruth shape and it looked really odd. I was pretty sure they weren't choosing to look that way and they couldn't see it on their own viewer.

Do you mean editing eyes for the Catwa heads? For the ones I listed above, those respond to all the eye sliders when editing your shape.

I read about it and decided not to mention it. I think my post is addressing a very small need for the existing heads. Going Evo X is a good idea for Catwa.

I decided to update an old ALT avatar that used a Slink Hourglass body and the default avatar system head. I replaced her body with an Ebody Reborn to keep her curves. For her system head, I wanted to keep the Lara Hurley Heidi skin and general head shape. I tried all the Lelutka head demos and they did not work. It took a while to reshape each Lelutka head to match the original system head but most did not come close. A few heads looked ok but the old skin did not fit correctly on them. My next attempt was with Catwa and I found that all of the new heads are compatible with the old system based skins. I reshaped all the demo heads until they were similar to the old system head and the differences between the Catwa heads became apparent. Sasa has much larger eyes and MajerSoft/MajerEdged have hard jawlines. Moonstone has a 'catface' with a nose and mouth pushed forward. I'm leaning toward either Fiona or Sasa. See the following chart below for reference. The point of this post is to suggest that if you have an old avatar and want to upgrade but keep the old look, Catwa seems to be a better choice over Lelutka, in my opinion. Of course, if you want to make a brand new face, you can choose any head designer.
