I can tell in this old screenshot that I had 5 digit balance, and the rest of that shot was me preparing land to sell. I think that's L$80,000+ . I started in SL on December 22, 2003. 17 years, 2 months, 9 days excluding the end date. It's a lot of months to look at one by one. The current Tilia system started long after I stopped spending much time in SL. It used to be possible to lose your account if something went wrong with your credit card. I had bought a quarter of a sim, I think, and when I sold it I never spent much after that, so i that 80 thousand to a hundred thousand Linden balance staring at me for years, which is why I had this vague memory of that. This is Philip Rosedale on Feb 24, 2005.

I have been gone from Second Life for so long I can't remember if I left more than a trivial amount of Lindens in here. I suspect that if I did leave a noteworthy amount of $1 in here, they might have gone missing due to changes in the currency system, or vanished due to an expired credit card, or been robbed by some clever user-their. So, who do I see about this? My memory is pretty flaky, and I tend to be online when I should be asleep, and I take mind-and-memory impairing medicine, so I might have withdrawn it. If I did, it would be the first time I ever withdrew any lindens, because it seems a bit of a hassle. I was not wanting to withdraw it now; I wanted to buy some mesh bodies and mesh clothes and such.

Checking in for the end of SLB14
SuezanneC Baskerville replied to SuezanneC Baskerville's topic in General Discussion Forum
As could be expected on a computer as weak as what I have now, Second Life stopped responding. This computer is much worse than my old ones that died. -
It's been so long not many people will remember me, but I started SL about 13 years ago. I spent a lot of time as an SL mentor and used to be active in the forums back in the vBulletin days, when Ulrika Zugzwang, Cristiano Midnight, Prokofy Neva, Korg Stygian, Osprey Therian, and others were active tghre. I spent a lot of time as an SL Mentor. My human has changed a lot in that time, and some of those changes partially account for my decreased presence in SL. I hung around the boardwalk when it was at Morris Ahern and there was Stage iV nearby. Sandbox Cordova was just Cordova then. Starax was around making statues. I have yet to try new stuff like Bento avatars. Now if I'm going to see any of SLB14 inworld I"d best get going

I joined SL on December 22, 2003. Thanks to Linden Lab for making it. and best wishes to the people I've met here, what few of them are still around. Sad to hear of Osprey's death. I enjoyed her presence.

Second Life Forums Feedback
SuezanneC Baskerville replied to Lexie Linden's topic in Forums Feedback
For those using Firefox, the extension Bookmark Favicon Changer will let you export the SL favicon and assign it to the forums. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bookmark-favicon-changer/?src=search -
I was still able to get AvPainter from the link on the laptop gadget inworld but I see now that it's not in the marketplace anymore. What happened?

I'm looking for "high heels that aren't very high". 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, or 3 inch heels, not platforms. Not super high. Not ultra high. "High heel" but not very high, not platforms, in round or natural toe contour pumps. "High heel" but not very high, not platforms, in open toe round toe or natural toe contour pumps. "High heel" but not very high, not platforms, in sandals.. I'm not looking for flats. I looked through pages of SL Marketplace and they are all too tall. Here are links to the general idea or the heights at a RL store: http://www.shoes.com/en-US/Womens/_/_/Dress+Shoes/Heel+Height+Medium/Products.aspx http://www.shoes.com/en-US/Content/heelheight-high.aspx Here is one single example: http://www.shoes.com/en-US/Product/80211-5207416/Aerosoles/Nude+Patent/Womens+Red+Hot.aspx

First time since starting SL I forgot to log in on my RezDay. 9 years as of 12-22-2012. Greetings to the fossils that still remember me.

I'm still kicking myself for not having bought the charter member deal, or whatever the precise name of the deal that got liletime membership and a 4096 parcel tier free. Other than that it's been good seeing the growth of the SL virtual world and the many ups, downs, and tangents it's development has taken and is taking. Happy SL8B.

Did LL just Secretly Break (update) SL?

Would support help with problems happening while using third party viewers? -
It appears Second Life's number of concurrent users is dropping. There's an article about this at Tateru Nino's blog There's also a story in the Alphavile Herald The bouncing boobs cavalry may not arrive in time.

Are there any other people with cash to blow on high dollar mod trans items? I figure that other people in that category chiming in might help entice suppliers of such items to respond. I don't fall in either category.

How do you join the user groups?
SuezanneC Baskerville replied to SuezanneC Baskerville's topic in General Discussion Forum
So those who work normal office hours in the U.S. are pretty much excluded, and there's no inworld groups to permit asynchronous chat on these subjects with those who can make the meetings? -

Eliminating animated images in forums
SuezanneC Baskerville replied to ChuckBaggett1488303079's topic in Forums Feedback
How do you block images in the Chrome browser? I just tried the "Blocker" Chrome extension; it does not seem to be well suited to the task. -
How do you see threads sorted by reply date, or in other orders, such as by number of responses, number of views, etc.? It seemed to me the recent threads lists is sorted by date and time of thread creation, which is not generally what I want. At any rate, it's possible to create urls to control sort orders for some forum software, and it might be possible for Lithium, but if so, I'm not familiar with how.
