yep... Abandoning or changing your Linden Home To change your choice of Linden Home type, you must abandon your current Linden Home and then register for a new one. To abandon your Linden Home: Choose World > Place Profile > About Land and click the General tab. Click Abandon Land. After you confirm your choice, the land is removed from your account. Now if you wish, you can register for another Linden Home. Warning: Please use this reasonably: if you abandon and choose a new Linden Home five times in 24 hours, you're temporarily blocked from choosing another. You'll need to wait after 24 hours have elapsed to register again.

Maximum Chat step length: 127 single-byte characters. Maximum Wait time: 3600 seconds (one hour). -

How can I get Second Life to work on my computer?
Cinnamon Lohner replied to Bellaabdf's question in Technical
You don't need a disk. Go to the AMD/ATI website and download the latest version for your particular graphics card and install it. --Cinn -
How can I let my friend rezz his items inside my linden home?
Cinnamon Lohner replied to honeyflower2's question in Technical
There are two ways to allow that. First, you could set the ability to Build on your Linden Home parcel to Everyone. This is done in the World - About Land window under the Options tab. This allows anyone to build on your land parcel. Most people would think that's a bad idea because unknown people could put things on your land. But its the easy cheap solution! The second is to create a Group (100L) , put your friend in the group, set the land to that group and then allow the Group to Build in the About Land window. --Cinn -
I recently became a premium member but still haven't received any L$
Cinnamon Lohner replied to Waagwan's question in Linden Dollars (L$)
The 1000L is paid after 45 days (reread the small print) The 300L weekly stipend is paid every Tuesday, early morning SL time. So you should receive your first stipend in about 12 hours. --Cinn -

The most likely cause is that Scripts have been disabled on the land parcel where you are trying to use the HUD. --Cinn

Has anyone heard of this supposed scam?
Cinnamon Lohner replied to Tiana Fiertze's topic in General Discussion Forum
There IS a gift card scam going around. Its an easy one to detect because the card asks you for Grant permission to take your linden. Which is true of all the scams that are capable of taking linden. So no need to panic. --Cinn -
Response to your edit. If there is no concern of age play then Irene's answer is the correct one. Child avatars are allowed on adult sims as long as they are not involved in age play. Of course, a sim owner can choose to ban furries, child avatars and people with excessive tattoos if they want. So you get to set your own criteria here. Of course if the sim is banning child avatars and using the LL TOS as the reason, you now know that that is not really a valid concern. --Cinn

sold my land but it show i still own some of it
Cinnamon Lohner replied to Coy Humphreys's question in Account
Hard question to answer without more information. What shows that you still own it? The land parcel? What does the Land Manager say? (Dashboard - Land Manager - My Mainland or Group Land or Land Use Fees Perhaps you had the land subdivided and forgot to rejoin before selling. Or perhaps you used a group to own the land and you haven't removed your land tier contribution from the group. To add information to your post use the Options - Edit. --Cinn- 1 reply

You have to use layers. For example, take a background image and then add text. That text will be in its own layer. Now apply the Drop shadow to the text layer and you will have shadowed text on your background. I suspect your problem is that you are taking snapshots in SL and then trying to spruce up the image in Gimp. Unfortunately, your snapshot is a single background layer as far as Gimp is concerned and the Drop shadow tool will only apply itself to the edges. You need to shoot your background and your model as separate images and then combined them in order to do what you describe. --Cinn

I still can't TP home to Raspberry in Fruit Islands?
Cinnamon Lohner replied to Angelena Nightfire's question in Technical
Most of the problems from yesterday seem to have been fixed. However I checked and Raspberry does seem to be down. I went to Prune and could not cross into the Raspberry sim nor could I teleport in. Since these islands appear to be private homestead estates, you need to contact the sim owner or the person you rent from and have them work with LL to get the sim back up. --Cinn -
Sounds like a lot of nonsense. Under normal SL conditions, there is no way to even track such a thing. There are various attachments sometimes used in SL sex that I suppose could be scripted to link to an external server somewhere that would then track when used and with what avatar. As a non-sex example, thats how the bloodlines vampire role play tracks vampire bites and victims. So to anwer your question, if such thing were happening, it would be very product specific. Frankly it sounds more like a rumor that a competitor would tell about someone else's product to scare away customers! --Cinn

Given the massive problems SL has been having today, its not surprising that a few sims would be borked. If you cannot teleport to it and you cannot teleport to a neighboring sim and walk in, then it probably needs to be restarted. Live Chat is a good place to get sims restarted assuming you are a premium account. --Cinn

Did you try logging into a different region. Try Pooley, Aqua or Smith. BTW SL has been pretty badly broken all day so you may still be feeling the effects of that as well. Its not unusual when logins are having problems for some people to login fine and other to have problems. Usually related to the asset servers and has nothing to do with where you are logging in from. --Cinn
