    Official or Firestorm? Neither - next question. Caveat - I use the lab viewer for marketplace (well it is their biz) and to see what else is new. Also its - nice. Both streams, release and ermm experimental. I can wait a few minutes to try the new stuff. TPV weapon of choice is Genesis as I trust them (and before it was sing - less said better mended). I use others as well. Choose your tool but I must say neither the LL viewer nor the TPVs I use have ever insisted on a 'clean install' apart from one. And no - not doing the "Viewer Wars" again. Or a food fight I just made a litre of stock from 2 carcasses .

    Windoze has effed up my desktop. It now thinks its 640 by 480. Yes I have done the driver thing. It 'thinks' my PC is a phone? Soddit going back to linux - and no longer care what does not run on it. Anything that runs on a 'fone is for kids anyway. Never have these probs with a real tool - and I have a box full of tools. Mutter grumble hammer consaw pointy stick voodoo operating systems... and its not the fault of SL. =^^=

    Playing with a new scripting toy (microStudio - its lovely) and realising I have to make my own equivs to LSL list functions. Yeah I feel I have been spoiled because its so easy in LSL. Also playing with the 'free' AWS DynamoDB and its all JSON except - docs mention blobs* so that cheered me up. Peeve - so many things in meatspace to be angry about so its easier to whinge about coding that nobody will get =^^= Also - going to have to make my own anims as can't find exactly what I want so will have to relearn how to do it. So at my pace thats 2 weeks work each. Minimum. *Binary Large Objects - made me laugh 30 years ago so yep

    Odd to log in to the forums as I usually monitor to see who else to add to inworld mute list. Don't worry, most already are. On this one.. the caveat is I am 'in the biz' and am allowed out by my comptroller ( who is also me but has the money and the rents and the premiums - odd how that works) with pocket money so when out and about.. say I go to 2 on a night out. Live players? Easy 50/50 because I know live when done well here is - wonderful and I know the work involved. DJ? I have odd tastes so... depends. But mostly 50/50 depending - because I am in an unfamiliar place so deserved. Home club is always 50% because I would get thrown outta the brownies. Thing is when I do go out I have a budget. And I appreciate what is there. Again, 'in the biz'. I might have a slight bias because I am out and going to enjoy things. Things I may have heard of before. Do not ask about the Company outing - I have to save up for that. Side note - the standard LSL pay thingy is 1,2,5,10 lindens with 'fill in here'. I made one once that was '10,500,10000,1000000' and got complaints about 'you expect me to pay 10L'. I also made a 'tipping cow' thing. So it goes Also - I do the streamy thing so I can look like - me And I am drop dead but I am a feral so - Other staff have to erm well.. uniform almost. I have worked with damned good people over the last decade and a half. There are no rules. Just be nice. I am I hope. Bills have to be met but 'thank you' 'never heard before' '20 cos' 50, 100, 200, 40k (happened once) all appreciated. Best tip I ever got was at a Pride when someone said they had never heard of 'Blondie' before. Young person from India. Made my year. Be nice to your club people. A lot of us - most of us - are nice back. Even me
