  1. Scriptures for vehicles ? Well 'Blessed are the meek for they take not from the library but verily do strive to create their own'
  2. Good to hear Tommy:) From the supplier site..
  3. Feedback? OK. Another reason to lurk in the important bits - however personally defined. 'Invision Community' well - would like to comment sometimes but - urgh 'community'. Who cares, after 10.5 years insert smiley thingy.
  4. I bought it before the original was pulled and its the best MP purchase ever
  5. Everything is 'usefull' as an example of 'never never ever make this/do this/perms wahh' or 'what were they thinking. My first 2006 cube fits that as its non copy even to me (now thats a bug going back), Most 'pointless' now hihi
  6. Fabulous advice but midnight plus is a bit tricky with my time zone so I tend to read the transcripts. And joy to behold no update since mid june. Ah well. But can check the agenda.. erm well from 2 weeks ago http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Server_Beta_User_Group Good stuff.
  7. Funny that this apllies to MP and dashboard but not here. Have to love services integration aka left hand not knowing it is a hand.
  8. Its all a bit 'carrot' so far, waiting for the 'stick' anchor, the one that gets tied to your foot to see if you can float when thrown in the deep end. Thats how these things tend to go isn't it?
  9. Possible to choose? Well chose to belive in Anoia and never looked back.
  10. Even though I ended up with some broken kit (which the creator has made an upgrade available so very happy with them) have to agree this was a good move on the Labs part. Plus it has been front and centre in terms of discussion here (and elsewhere) for some weeks so not exactly a surprise. Double plus it kicked me in to cobbling together one for my own use.
  11. So existing content is broken. It happens. Not rezzed mine in a while and always wanted to write my own but well. Is this definitive? So when is it settled so I can do mine
  12. Posting here is an even better way to settle things. No really Especially naming names, surprised the OP has not been informed of that particular no-no.
  13. https://www.lindenlab.com/releases/linden-lab-introduces-identity-verification-to-second-life Release from 2007. Think was another attempt a bit later too but memory gets cloudier. (Interesting to see what the verification company the link in the release leads to touts now).
  14. Won't provide a link because - lyrics - but one that always reminds me of my poledancing days would be by Buckcherry off '15' (track 7 I think thank you wikipedia). Must have heard it 3 times a day,,, Oh, and bilingual of course. Well, really.
  15. Ta Benji. See you on slu.. and to Hailee Tempessta .. ' standing together. ' where do you want us to stand? I stand. Always will. Perhaps just not with generic *****e,
  16. No its not the same as it used to be but then again after a decade - neither am I. Like others, I now am in 'other places' but SL remains the base for any creative (term used very loosely by one who struggles to draw a straight line with a ruler) activity. May be in a tiny minority but who cares? My world etc etc... As for external tools - well I have barely touched the internal editor in years having found other tools. OK so the one thing I did have at the beginning was coding experience and its a small example but still - the same applies to using the Gimp or whatever for textures. And yes I fiddle (badly) with Blender, if nothing other than to exercise the swearing muscles. Therapeutic and if my efforts are dreadful compared to others - I don't care. And thanks Medhue for the vid - one I still go back regularly.
  17. Not usual practice but the 'Proteus' effect has some interesting papers and this seemed to add so done. Also no prob on firefox (but on a real PC hihi)
  18. Or indeed fall back on old inspration (although I didn't dare link to the obvious)
  19. I agree there, my rusty recollection is that the 80k+ number was a bit of a fleeting thing and didn't register apart from in a 'thats nice' way. Not like the day back in the mists of time when it hit 15k - and didn't immediately fall over. We were all so much younger then... (Yes the two data points I posted were just that - points and not of any real use for an ongoing trend analysis. Never got around to breaking it out from the emails it sends anyway . More passing anecdotes and we only put the thing out to test some basic web result passing. Kept around more for curiosity now, not as anything of use for anyone else. ).
  20. Depends on your data set. Idle curiosity grabbed these from my groups hourly recorder. It goes back further but ..Three year gap, roughly same SL time (same day, 2014 was Wednesday I think) Object-Name: sign up monitor 2 Region: (removed) Local-Position: (160, 7, 901) Sign up SLT : 2014-02-12 14:55:01 : 37001721 : logged in : 52839 Object-Name: sign up monitor 2 Region: (removed) Local-Position: (160, 7, 901) Sign up SLT : 2017-02-12 14:55:01 : 49143182 : logged in : 53136 Not sure I recall 80k from 5 years ago, before that yes.
  21. Yep also created during a time that .. never mind, long ago. Very usefull as storage and back up for builds only.. he's a DJ now and a bit of a gad about and we hardly speak anymore. Not that I go to his parties anyway. Not since he said that about our Mam.
  22. Interesting. A bit of a flaw over voice. Use of in second part wipes out 'anonimity' in the first. Otherwise I would. How do you reconcile? Small point - 1 brexit pound != trump dollar != inworld conversion - well as yet Yes and aware of UK research cash guidelines.
