  1. I'm pretty much the same way. I'm not really a dress or skirt wearer in RL, but I love wearing them in SL. Strange, huh? I'm too afraid to look at the complexity of my outfits. I'm afraid I'd have to toss out my entire inventory of clothing, except for some system pants and shirts! I think I'd rather just be ignorant, and if it means showing up as a jelly doll on someone else's viewer, oh well.
  2. LOL! I;m starting to wonder if I'm the only one who logs in periodically just to change clothes and log back out. I can't stand wearing the same clothes too long!
  3. Absolutely. It would be nice to know how much time I had to get my affairs in order. However, if it included the circumstances of my death, I'm not sure I'd open it then. I don't think I'd want to know that I get hit by a bus or something like that.
  4. Oh, and Happy Easter, everyone! And Happy Belated Birthday to Mo!
  5. I'd definitely be up for that! I regret I won't be able to make the gathering on the 22nd, though. I've lost internet at home (happens when you can't afford to pay the bill on time) and am relying on a tether to my cell phone. I have a feeling SL would top out my data plan very quickly.
  6. Speaking of threads to ignore and let die, what happened to the ones we had? I see one got locked, but the other, newer one seems to have disappeared completely. Doesn't exactly send good vibes about this new community if it got axed.
  7. Is this another one that we have to just ignore and let die?
  8. Likewise. The new blog/forum ("flog") software was awful and the moderation policy was draconian, whether they actually went through with it or not I don't know. After the practically-unmoderated forum of old, I just didn't stick around to find out.
  9. Yup, time for me to head to bed myself. Nearly 9:30 here, and my day begins at 4:30am. Ugh!
  10. For those wondering how to insert an image from your local drive, simply drag the image file you want to insert into the area that says "Drag files here to attach". Once it uploads, go to it and click the "+",. Your image will insert where your cursor is. To resize it, CTRL+RightClick on the inserted image, and choose "edit:. Hope that helps!
  11. Testing... Okay, that covers insertion, but, yeah, there's no way to resize it. Edit: Yes there is. See the next two posts.
  12. I'm using an Asus laptop I bought in the autumn of 2010, and it's still chugging along pretty decently. It's no speed demon, but it still handles SL and Sims 4 acceptably well. It's an Asus G73JH, sporting a first-generation Core I7 and a Radeon HD 5870, with 6GB of memory.
