  1. Wooo Gratz!!!!! :-D funny that i happened to 2 pcs at the same time, but who am I to question Microsoft?
  2. Yes I have tried resetting it(lol a lot), About 1-2 weeks before the problem began I got a new modem and a static IP address, that is the only significant change that I can think of so I am thinking maybe something changed :-s Also I thought a short list of 100% compatible modems couldn't hurt ;-)
  3. I think maybe my Asus DSL-11N router may be causeing trouple connecting to SL. I know of one Netgear router that has known problems and I was hoping people were willing to let me know their router and if they have had any issues connecing to SL through it to help me decide weather to upgrade or not? If you Use an Asus Modem, Have you had any issues? Thankies :-D Lilmix
  4. I will do as soon as I get home from work, Lol I am at the point that I will try anything
  5. Hmmm, I hope that clearing cache will fix it. It is defiantly strange that the problem is on 2 pcs but I have seen stranger things happen, so It could just be coincidental. Fingers crossed for you :-)
  6. I had thought about that, I am wondering if the computers might be similar in the sense that they run the same Operating sys and protection softwares? It may be possible that a recent update has caused the error. Did clearing the cache help or is the problem continuing?
  7. Maybe you could try manualy clearing cache, Move the folder C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife to your desktop, Restart your PC and try loading SL again The reason I sugest move and not delete is so you have a copy of any logs if you like to keep them , the folder will recreate itself when you start your viewer up again
  8. There is one security system i saw that logs visitors to a web site with time they arived and how many visits they have made back to yuor sim. I cant remember the name of it ATM but I am sure it cant be the only one that offers this kind of info

Often other Second Life users, as crazy as we are, just do that - they randomly write " LOL" in the Map or in the Location Bar, they're teleported to our region, and they start having fun. Sometimes they even tell it us. /me giggles because she owns Lag for the same reasons.... A freind of mine decorated half the sim to look gothic and vampy and the other half sort of keeps in theme. If you can view the windlight settings it might be worth looking at for profile pictures

  11. These pictures are amazing and the builders behind the features defiantly show that anything is possible in SL, I think next time I am in world i will have Torley's Flickr open for some serious exploreing
  12. Hiyas, I am always connected via a cable to my router This happens on all viewers that I have tried, However I did have one case when I logged an Alt and myself on different viewers and one had a full connection, the other as described I will try rechecking my bandwidth and clearing cache again and cross my fingers The time I was logged in for 12 hours was recently and I was exploring from sim to sim, Normally I cant TP if I log in as described. When I reset my modem/router I am able to log in. But 4 out of 5 times, I am disconnected within minutes and the circle stars again. I also normally restart my PC at the same time Thank you for replying and I hope I can solve this soon... :-) Oh, A bit more info, I contacted my ISP today and they assured me that they are not in any way bocking/locking connections to LL...
  13. Awsome news on SVC-5959 !!! I have been hopeing for this for a while now
  14. I was wondering the same thing too, Inparticular there is a very blue one that I was hoping to go see
  15. For a while now(about 1 and a half months) I log into SL and quickly get logged out, when I relog I loose alot of functions including My Friend list, Groups and About land info, as well as not reciving notices andinventory offers. All the info I can see reads ok and it seems random, Some days I can log in and stay loged in for 12 hours +, other times I might only last 2 mins or less. After contacting suport I am left with more questions than answers My print out Second Life 2.5.2 (223426) Mar 10 2011 17:38:45 (Second Life Release) Release Notes You are at 197,294.0, 253,910.0, 22.8 in Lag located at sim20976.agni.lindenlab.com (216.82.30.10:13000) Second Life Server 11.03.14.223737 Release Notes CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ (2712.33 MHz) Memory: 4096 MB OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit (Build 7600) Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation Graphics Card: GeForce 8600 GT/PCI/SSE2 Windows Graphics Driver Version: 8.17.0012.6658 OpenGL Version: 3.3.0 libcurl Version: libcurl/7.21.1 OpenSSL/0.9.8j zlib/1.2.3 c-ares/1.7.1 J2C Decoder Version: KDU v6.4.1 Audio Driver Version: FMOD version 3.750000 Qt Webkit Version: 4.7.1 (version number hard-coded) Voice Server Version: Vivox 3.2.0002.9361 Built with MSVC version 1400 Packets Lost: 3/9,703 (0.0%) The modem is an ASUS DSL-N11 Thanks Lilmix * Update* This turned out to actually be the Modem.
