  1. I know there were a lot of people hoping for the lot next to mine on Carson's Folly. I rolled mine up on the July 5th right when the released the (3rd?) batch of ranches. It has been non-stop traffic since then with people looking at the lot next to mine and talking about how much they want it. I even saw Guy Linden over on that lot a little while ago. Not sure how LL decides to fill tickets but I would assume it is in chronological order? That is what seems fairest in my mind.
  2. I just wanted to circle back to this house and say that I think the interior (I saw your little tour in the other thread) and exterior work you have done is spectacular. It is the first time I actually got excited by these homes. You have really gone above and beyond to make these homes into something that makes sense to me architecturally and design wise. Honestly, I am super impressed by your vision. I am saddened that your vision does not fit within the bounds deemed acceptable at this time. I understand wanting to reign in some of the more outlandish additions that have become popular as of late, but I don't want the pendulum to swing too far in the other direction.
  3. It all depends on where they work next. They could start with filling in on the side you face, or the complete opposite side. Only they know where they plan to expand next. I have a stilt that is still (blessedly) next to a void on two sides. Tons of other stilts have been built next to, but not mine yet. Will they eventually? Perhaps yes? Or maybe I get lucky and they put in ocean sims as buffer next to me. It has been what, around a year? I never expected to even get this long with my great views. Yours may be filled with a bunch of houses, or maybe it will get a little strip of coastline and then a big ocean expanse. All you can do is flip the coin and hope it goes your way.
  4. Is that the roof that got sent back? If so, I am floored. That looks great and is 10x less OTT than most additions out there.
  5. I want to preface this by saying that modern homes are my absolute favorite. I love current modern homes with their sleek stylings, color/material blocking, and abundant utilization natural materials. I love MidMod homes with their charming beams, bright pops of color, and clerestory windows. I love courtyards, low pitched roofs, non-traditional window placement, fresh white stucco, glass and iron railings, and sleek wood floors. All of the range and beauty of modern homes and you settled on really massive container homes with few architectural embellishments, no natural materials, and aesthetically asynchronous traditional interiors? Huh. Didn't see that one coming. I'm just completely baffled by the decisions here.
  6. I have to agree that the interiors do not seem to match with the exteriors. They have very traditional trim and mouldings. If they wanted to go that style inside they should have leaned more MidMod on the exteriors instead of the brutalist-esque style they currently have. Or they could streamline the interiors. Simple sleek trim and mouldings. Glass or iron railings. Less weathered wood flooring. Right now it is very jarring to have the two conflicting styles in one home.
  7. My favorite spot, and the one I've had the longest, is one I've had since 2019. Part of the OG Bellis landmass. I love that is is RIGHT on the water, the lot goes right up to those rocks. And there are lovely water views on two sides. The region only has a few houses on it so the lag is really low. No water parade or anything, but the Fairgrounds are dead ahead if you crank up draw distance.
  8. Just got the most amazing spot on Providence Lake, right on the most adorable little cove. There seems to be a couple lots on the region still not taken. I'm super stoked! I honestly don't think there's a better spot out there!
  9. I'm a bit lukewarm on chalets. I really need to see what the whole area looks like before I know how I will really feel about them.
  10. Honestly, this is all a matter of perspective. I've landed some amazing LH spots. And I've gotten my hopes up about grabbing the perfect spot on the perfect sim just to be outrolled by others. It happens. And while I may be sad for a few hours, there are a million other spots out there. One person's trash is another's treasure. My current favorite is a stilt that was abandoned that I grabbed on a random roll. I was trying to roll a new sim and this little jewel landed in my lap. I just try to be happy with what I get and not fret the small stuff.
  11. I mean, it is the same issue. Most of the log homes had their picture windows and big decks on the front. People just want their picture windows and decks to face the water.
  12. Okay, but, serious question. Why are all the edge houses turned the wrong direction? Like, front facing the water, back facing the land? This is not how houses are normally faced. People want their picture windows and decks to face their best view. This is an almost universal issue for the stilt homes. Many have their back decks turned towards each other instead of towards the water. Really, the universality of this choice is completely baffling.
  13. They really should have taken care of this already. Shameful they haven't.
  14. I have seen this behavior multiple times. It seems to be linked to someone other than the home's owner making the colors. If you are the owner and make the colors they function properly. If someone other that the owner, who was given access, makes the colors it logs them all as the same color, "color 0."
  15. I completely agree. It would be a great Christmas gift if they bundles all 4 content LH packs together and put them somewhere for Premium members to pick up. They use items like the fairy lights in the Traditional area and Victorian area so it would be fitting that we can as well. Plus, those flowers are just spectacular. LL should be proud of how great they turned out.
  16. The release appeared to be an automated slow roll out one region at a time until all the lots had been claimed. As far as I know there were a couple regions lingering around as late as tonight. I got my dream beach Victorian when the region released last night around 7pm. So, yes, this is the last bunch before the new year but it appears to be a slow burn sort of release.
  17. I love Bellis, but all this stamping is really cheapening it. I really appreciated how every area was so lovingly crafted. I loved watching moles carve a blank space into an amazing neighborhood. It was truly impressive. These new islands just feel plopped down. And the cloned Squishy Pickle is something else.
  18. Saying that no snow is the same as no Christmas is pretty disingenuous. Loads of places all over the world don't get snow in December and still manage to celebrate Christmas. We very rarely have snow during Christmas where I live in RL. In SL I'm excited to make a beachy Christmas landscape with Christmas lights in palm trees. Honestly, limiting snow to a light dusting or patchy drifts seems pretty reasonable.
  19. Every home I have ever lived in was an abandon. And my current place is AMAZING. Everyone wants something different. I think discouraging others from sharing the homes they know are available is only robbing people in search of a home from knowing what is out there. I get that it is frustrating but please don’t make others the object of those frustrations. Everyone is battling a complicated system trying to get a spot on Bellisseria. I, for one, appreciate the information.
  20. Your house used to belong to my friend Quiet. She said she only ever noticed someone random popping into her house once but maybe she just missed most of them. We both noticed that the lot seemed to have high traffic for how often she used it. I'm really bummed that this is happening to you.
  21. So strange. I wouldn't be able to deal with bots either way.
  22. Question, for those who are having bot issues, is your house in the middle of the region? Perhaps they are enter a region name and just ending up in your house because it was unfortunately placed directly in the center of the region. I really wish the moles would double check that nobody's property sits right on the center of the region for that reason.
