well, I love them all, despite the campers. If campers had the same prim allowance I'd love them too. Each of the styles has advantages: 1. Houseboats allow quick access to the sailable waters 2. Victorians have (according to my taste) the nicest street and garden environments 3. Trads are easier to furnish because of straighter footprints than Vics 4. Campers remind me on holidays and long weekends in the woods / mountains, (which I suspect will be the same with the coming log cabins.)

True, Alwin. But don't underestimate the level of demand, and there are much more people living in the diverse US time zones than in mine. The good thing about it is, the release of the cabins will get the game of homes moving. Lots of new abandoned homes and so on. And this is something to stay excited about, even if I'll miss it.

I suspect I will miss out the release of the log cabins anyway. Because.......living in the Middle European Time Zone, nowadays releases tend to take place mostly during the time I am in bed. That seems to have changed since December, when the last big relase happened. Last year I could see normal region releases at 7am my time as well as 7pm, but now they all seem to happen while I am asleep. All I can grab since then are abandoned ones. This, in fact, is a bit disappointing, even when I am aware that an abandoned one may also meet my taste. Abandoned does not mean "bad one" automatically. In the end....... all needed is a little luck

I have seen the same phenomenon at some campers on Carnival region a while ago. The region contained houses AND campers, divided by some water but it was the same region. While the houses were given to the pool, the campers stayed empty for about a few weeks and I really wondered why. Must be a LL-secret

Haha I saw it and tried but someone was faster. Well, okay, it is 3:09 am at my place, woke up after only four hours of sleep and I am not really in a fitness state haha

Have been searching a long time for a not so very primmy kitchen without backsplash and upper stuff, so one could place it at walls with windows...... I finally found the newest release from Hive, the "Modular Cozy Kitchen". It comes with a lot of modules, more than I did put out in my Wallower. The fine thing about modular kitchens is, you can use them at any footprint, and since this one does no upper parts it is nice to put under windows or use it in campers. There are backsplashes in the box, as single parts. (which I did not like, a matter of taste. So I made my own) Also shelves which I did not use and an island. And there is an "anyhwere animation prim in the box, which is transparent and can be placed above each cabinet/part of the kitchen you like. It also comes with a texture change HUD for the countertops. The way I did put it together here (not counting the small backsplash and decorations) has a total LI of 17. Despite the island-like cabinets I am sitting at, nothing in the kitchen has a backside. The backsides are (like often with meshes) transparent so it is important to have walls and not the need to put a part "freestanding".

Caught this one the day before yesterday. Actually I did not want to claim a boat again, I was looking for a house with a beach view and not much neighbours. But all I could catch for weeks was in the middle of regions. I was bored, saw the boat in the pool and thought "okay, just go there, look at it, abandon it and leave again!" Hm. When arriving, before everything was rezzed I thought "oh okay.......just an average houseboat again". But then..........wow......... there is land with trads in my back, land with a Linden meeting point to the left, so there are plants, grass and ..... erm......well more than just water. The neighbours are not all stuck together with no space in between, there is enough space to not feel "arrested" And just a few meters up the land, there is a road with 3 (!) Rezz Zones. Wow. I could not let it go again.

The camper I had was named "The Shelter", and I only have one Premium. So I abandoned the camper, since I am a decorating addict. At the very moment I own a houseboat called "The Breeze".

BeeGees?? lol -- no seriously I suspect he is German. "Gib!" ist the imperative for "geben".......to give. I agree with Alwin Alcott, since the big December release nothing much has happened. Moreover I am always afraid to miss something, cause the Mole workhours are not really mine, lol (Europe), often they released something late at their day when I was asleep already. I can see so many nice new regions and I am wondering if they just hoard them for such a big release again.........

well besides the question "to dropdown or not dropdown", lol....... what I don't understand is, how so many can shout "Lollipop was released" while I see it offline for ten more minutes......strange.

Now Lollipop is online again and there is a huge bunch of avatars. So it has been definately the release of Lollipop. I am angry now. Cause......how can I ever get a house boat when the region releases do not show up at my landpage? grrrrrr

hmmm....... maybe the ping difference between US and Europe? Sometimes I really don't understand the internet and data highways.

*sighs. How come I did not see a single boat and at my map Lollipop is still restarting? That doesn't sound logical, or maybe they are releasing two boat regions today?
