I hardly think this counts as spam, it's one post in the appropriate category....and it's for a good cause, come on!

I find it ironic that the ones complaining about "intolerance" seem to be the ones guilty of the intolerance. If it is about freedom and creating your own world, then why shouldn't others be free not to have YOUR choices forced on them? If someone wants to be a Vampire or furry or whatever, they can do that just as the must respect the fact that those who wish to live in a human only world (or vampire only etc. etc.) have the same rights to make those choices. (As long as those choices are not causing harm to others.) And when it comes to property owners, it is THEIR land after all....they're paying the tiers you're not so why should they not be allowed to set whatever guidelines they wish to? It is not like there are not plenty of alternatives and other choices out there so everyone can find the places that are best for them. And is that not what tolerance is really all about, letting everyone have their own place and be in peace?

All of SL has been a mess since they unleashed the disaster that is mesh. I think the solution is simply to undo the idiotic move in the first place, it was a stupid pointless move that we knew was going to be a disaster, so why they did something so stupid I do not know.

I know I have said this before, many times, but it really feels like LL is trying to kill commerce in SL (why I do not know) but we have the idiotic viewer "basic mode" fiasco, the equally stupid mesh mess, and things like this....seriously what is going on?

Jessika, I have to agree with you. Allowing anyone with the vision, creative drive, and talent to create in SL has been one of the BIGGEST appeals and now they are ruining that and making the user experience even more frustrating for people. Why do they keep trying to fix what is not broken? Content creation works fine, LEAVE IT ALONE! If they want to improve anything, reduce lag, work on community building and related tools (the people part, not the the physical prim part), and bring down the set up fees for regions, these are the things people have been asking for over, and over, and over, and over....and over again, but they never seem to listen, instead they keep coming up the most stupid, inane ideas that tend to make everything worse!

Since I hate the entire idea of moving to mesh and what it will do to the SL economy, I will refuse to buy anything with mesh.

Lol, it's ok. It's really frustrating since it never actually launches, I have no clue what to do and amazingly enough, yelling at the screen isn't helping either! I'm totally lost on this one....:matte-motes-impatient:

There isn't a log in screen, it never gets that far.

Hello everyone....I am having major issues with SL viewer. When I try to launch it, it gets stuck at "Initializing VFS" and goes straight to a crash report. I have tried uninstalling it and downloading it again and even tried going back to version 1.23 of the viewer and it just collapses every time I try to start it as well. It was working fine a month or so ago when I last logged in and I can not for the life of me figure out what is wrong with it. Any suggestions anyone??? (I'm on a Windows 7 PC btw).

Marchesa is correct, most people do not want all of the gutter content, and in fact having it has really hurt SL. It is keeping away legitimate businesses, organizations, and users because of it and just asking for major legal trouble. Most people want respectable, family/business friendly destinations and experiences and Kudos to all of the other land developers and sim owners out there who keep it PG!

Can someone kindly explain the point of trying to switch to mesh? It seems like it is just tipping the boat over for no good reason to me and causing far more problems than any possible benefit that I could see.

Bought mine, and it makes a great gift to so buy a dozen!! It is such a simple way to help others and let them know we care. My thoughts and prayers for everyone there
