Correct me if I am wrong, but moving the hybrid boobs to Adult would not allow pictures? Not even to show seams in different windlight settings and comparing brands et cetera? Could they not be posted with pasties? Or band aids across the nipples? eta punctuation and a typo Could they?

Yes. ok...you're making it really hard to be an ethical blood sucker.

I am not prepared to build only to RL scale unless there was a clear indication that the majority of users are using a more realistic camera angle. However I am about to release a new mesh build that is quite big and shrinking the overall build by 25% significantly reduces the LI. So I am considering putting 2 versions of the build in the box along with details on adjusting the camera angle. Something else I am considering is placing 2 versions of the build in the demo area, one with standard SL proportions and the other RL proportions. I would also place a large poster with instruction on how to change the camera angle and the difference in LI between the 2 versions. I figured if customers could actually see the 2 versions of the build stood next to each other, play about with their cameras and explore both builds and appreciate the LI saving then it may convert more people to the cause. Porky that is exactly what I have done with my last house. I have two sizes of house in the box, and the instructions say you can stretch it larger if you want. I include camera angle instructions with the house, and I have a sign with a notecard giver outside the house. I also sent the notecard to my group (not for the first time) before I released the house. For the first couple of weeks after release I also kept the two sizes of house rezzed side by side, but I am hurting for prims on all sims so had to take it up. Nevertheless, the only marketplace review I received was two stars -- because the bedrooms are "too small" -- when they are in fact plenty roomy. Why she bought without walking through is a mystery. But I know that the future IS more realistic scale. There is just no point in wasting prims on needlessly gigantic builds when a simple camera adjustment makes it unnecessary. Pam. Does avatar height play a part in all this or just camera angles?

  7. Syo Emerald wrote: I was wondering today why some people hide their groups. Are they ashamed of their groups? Do they think groups are private? Do you hide your groups? I'm curious, because I never really could understand why people hide their groups. Also I'm a curious profile reader. Perhaps because when I'm walking about the world I don't care to grab a bullhorn and announce to the world that at times I like to be knee deep in a pile of steamy flesh moaning in ecstasy. Much like real life, we get to choose who and what we want to reveal pieces of our lives to with other like minded people. I suppose your question may be because the world we live in is becoming more a place where people expect openness and honesty from the start; everything right up front, saving us the time to get to know someone...what they like, what they don't. There is still a thing called discretion, and choosing when and how, or even if, someone wants to reveal things about themselves is entirely up to them. You can hide your groups, perhaps because you just want to go sit in a coffee shop and enjoy another part of yourself, not because you are ashamed of anything, but simply just because some things have their place and time. Then perhaps, as you are sitting there having a nice afternoon, enjoying the beautiful surroundings, you happen to open up the other's profile and much to your surprise you find another person who enjoys the same things you do, and wow, they like going to coffee shops just the same....how weird is that? One of the great things about life is that people get to choose their own boundaries. We need to remember that.

  21. Amethyst Jetaime wrote: You can blame the change for the avatar height offset disappearing on LL. It is incompatible with the new server code that will have server side baking. While disappointing I can live with the replacement. Kudos to the Firestorm Team. At first I missed the height offset too, but I only used it because certain footwear caused my feet to sink into the ground. I don't see this happening with the latest release. I'll second the Kudos to the Firestorm team. The support staff has more patience than you can imagine, after seeing some of the group chat following the release. Some people get really bent out of shape when things change and don't take the time to find out why changes were made. We should all say thank you for all the effort put forth to bring people an alternative to the "official viewer".

  23. Storm Clarence wrote: As all eyes were focused on her I noticed she dropped a couple of tickets as she was shoving them in her pocket. I wanted to tell her she dropped her tickets, but I did not. I picked up the tickets and stuffed them in my pocket. Later that evening, while having a cocktail and posting to SLF, I remembered the lottery tickets and went to retrieved them from my jacket pocket. Lo and behold one ticket hit. $1,287,000.00 Is there a moral to this story? Should I care? After you saw the woman drop the tickets, you wanted to tell her she had dropped her tickets. The question for you, is to explain to us what stopped you from telling her. You took revenge on something that wasn't about you, you took a moral high ground that you felt was justified, presumably because you also were irritated by this woman's actions. You made your own morality judgment the moment you stuffed the tickets in your pocket. What purpose did it serve? No one saw you do it, the woman is ignorant of it. The whole ordeal appears to have happened without anyone ever being the wiser for it. The ticket hits, you cash it in and take the money. You've already missed the opportunity to do the right thing, and I suppose the moral of the story is the actions we choose when emotional, or feeling offended, or just down right irritated, frustrated and annoyed are not the one's we'd otherwise choose. But those are the moments that define a person's character. ...and having said all that, all that is left to say is....dang! That's a lot of money. Tempting indeed.
