G'day SL! I am quite new to using Blender and have managed to make a Furry head. I was was planning to animate it so that I could add a moving jaw without having to seperate the jaw from the.. head mesh.. giving a seamless look, as well as, hopefully, nicer jaw movements. The questions I wanted to ask was, how should I go about doing this? -Is it better to texture or rig first? -would I be able to add expressions? - would Blinking eyelids also be something i'd be able to add?

Heya mate. you know the SL online marketplace has a kind of wishlist right? not one that others can see, but it saves the items you want. And for a blank photo background did you ever try making a plain hollowed box with the "Fullbright" box checked in the build menu box and then placing your avatar inside that plain box to take pictures of your avatar with a plain background? Should have the same effect as IMVU's plain default background :3 Hope that helps some with your problem ^,^

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. It was very obvious that she was talking bull - but since i know only a little about computers and how they work my curiousity had to be fed. lol - But yeah i didnt think modding or adding your own "Drivers" would help to boost performance all that much like she was saying since GPU performance is reached "obviously" by the hardward and its little nick nacs more then its software. Of course the software is important but the software for a tough GPU and high performance only really matters if the hardware can handle that driver right?

Kinda pointless of those clans but i understand ya. By changing the Internal files to display a higher FPS you gain fake bragging rights?

ah i see see. Though what about the FPS and background that she was talking about? id like to know your oppinion on that aswell, very interesting stuff to hear from someone that knows what they are talking about..

G'day i have been talking with a friend of mine and we where talking PC, It got to a stage where she had said that she is running lynix, win 7, vista and xp on a single laptop. I was just curious if that could be done? (this one sounds the most unbelievable to me -->>) I was also wondering if it where possible to get 120 FPS ultra setting on secondlife, watch videos, download and have 50 tabs open in browser all at the same time.. also said she can run "Crysis" on ultra setting and get 60 FPS - using a pc thats 7 years old and has integrated graphics? and that she heavily modded and added new drivers which is why it runs like a high tier modern day PC- now this friend of mine is a nice person but to me it all sounds waaayyy too freaking good to be true judging from her PCs age and the fact its using integrated graphics. Oh and she said she got her first pc when she was four which is why she is so PC literate... but yeah to me it sounds like bull, but i really am interested to know if it can be done.

Every now and then SL has like? a kind of 'mood' where it crashes my computer on login aswell, sometimes it takes me 8 tried to finally log. I have tried Clearing cache, tinkering with the bandwidth, setting graphics to low, and even tried a complete clean reinstall of SL, hell.. i even tried reinstalling my driver's. Its not just the 2.0 viewer but also third party viewers i have the problem with. Just like Juniper i can log into the beta grid's fine its just the main grid that's been giving me grief. I am running win 7 ultimate, Intel i5 quad core, 4 GB ram and a ATI radeon 5850 black edition 1GB
