  1. Thank you for your kindness LegitBonzai! 😁 The honor is all mine. You made my day and I'm really glad you replied. Now I know there's a few people wanting a more advanced generator I'll focus on getting it out. I don't believe I'm famous, I've not met many people that have used the Script Generator. Although I haven't been on SL much in recent years. I've been maintaining the Script Generator on my site in my free time, out of my own pocket (donations will always be welcome and help keep it up & running free for all). I'm just happy to see it's of use to people and their creations. As mentioned by LittleScripter Natural language would be great and Wulfie Reanimator talked about ChatGPT. I'm sure someone out there could train an AI on LSL, however I've not worked on integrating AI but its a really interesting idea. I've attached a screenshot for you of the current progress I've made on the advanced generator. It's early days however it resembles scratch.mit. It's all web based and will hopefully be super simple to use. The plan would to make it look nice, have the output code styled, loads of LSL functions etc. It wont replace the current generator it'll be on a new url such as: conwylie.co.uk/editor but will let people know the url once its online. Hope you have a great day.
  2. Hello LegitBonzai, I understand the current Script Generator I've built only outputs basic scripts. Good for quick way to get, for example a dialog without having to remember all the options. I do have plans (and had started) to create a more advanced Script Generator for Second Life, like the scratch.mit.edu editor. However real life and work has been very busy so it's on the back burner. I'll be sure to let you know when I get the advanced script generator finished and online The LSL Portal was a good help to me in understanding what functions LSL offers and what they do. But you do need an understanding of programming to use them. I was once part of a group called Learn Avatar, well over 10 years ago, which gave a plot of land in return you had to attend inworld lessons with others on building and scripting. I found this a good way to learn as you could ask the teacher on parts you didn't understand. Not sure if there's any groups like this now. Using what I learned at Learn Avatar, I'd create little projects that I thought would be interesting and slowly learned how to do more and more with LSL. Kind regards, Con Wylie
  3. Thanks for the reply :matte-motes-grin: The videos are of tutorials on how to build and script. I think the ads are just at the bottom of the video not in the way. Thank you, Con.
  4. Hello, I would like to know if I am allowed to enable Youtube Monetise on my videos about Second Life. I would like to put ads on my youtube videos and need to know if Linden Lab allows people to earn money from ads about their software. Thanks, Con.
  5. Hi, I dont think Linden Lab will have a problem with this. As there was a site like this that Linden Lab brought out and called it the Second Life Marketplace (xstreetsl.com). But its better to be safe knowing that Linden Lab allows it
  6. Thanks, I will ask LL to have a look about what they think, and if they allow it. :matte-motes-grin:
  7. Oh sorry, I did not mean it as advertising just asking what people think (e.g. if LL would allow it) I think I will have to edit the post so it does not seem like advertising. Thanks for the heads up :matte-motes-grin:
  8. I have not asked Linden Lab, but people are paying Linden Lab to display the ads so I don't think I would have to display their ads on a website I have created. But I have not looked up about this so I don't know.
  9. I have been working on a Second Life marketplace (or a store ((what ever you want to call it)) where users can buy items from your website, just like Linden Labs marketplace. The create your own part is to let store owners integrate the marketplace on their site. Store owners now do not have to do all the hard coding and learn how to code LSL, PHP and MySQL. ** Step-by-step on how it works for your users ** 1: The user pays one of your inworld terminals and has a marketplace account created for them on your site. 2: The user logins with their Second Life username and the password sent to them via step 1. 3: The user browses your store and clicks the 'buy now' button. 4: The amount of the item is taken from their 'online' account (their online balance is updated by paying the inworld terminal). 5: The item is then sent to their Second Life account and everyone is happy :) Here is a video of the marketplace working and how it can be intergrated into your website: http://conwylie.co.uk/video-post/video-011.php New in Version Alpha 1.5: (Not in youtube video) User Levels - Users now have levels 1-9, all users start at level 1. Admins are level 9 (lets them access the admin area) Admin area - Add items (no need to enter items via MySQL) - Manage user accounts Item Image - Items now have images next to them. To-do for Alpha 1.6: - Item pages (just like in Linden Labs Marketplace) - Sale info (auto email item owner with sale info) - Change password (users can change their store account password) ~~ I hope to sell this when I have done coding most of it. Please can you send me your views on this and how I could improve it.
  10. Thanks, I am hoping to add a tool to let users submit scripts and I am updating weekly. The main reason I created this tool is because I had been using 3greeneggs Auto Script and wanted more out of it, 1 year passed and with my scripting knowledge I created this tool. I am hoping to team up with others and use their tools within my project.
  11. Con Wylie's new super fast scripting tool creates your script on the fly. This tool is updated weekly with more scripts, with help from our users. Visit: http://conwylie.co.uk/games/secondlife/ScriptGenerator/ Please send this tool around to help make us grow.
