I'm currently using Maitreya Lara with add-ons.like V-Tech boischest. Can anybody recommend a good-looking boy body that doesn't require add-ons of lots of modification? My avi is young (under 20 years), slender and a bit feminine. Thank you, RR

Hi. I was trying out a demo of the Maitreya Flat Chest and after removing it, there were still graphics on my avi: The word "demo" was written all over my body and the Maitreya logo was attached to several places. I tried wearing several diffenrent skins, but they stayed on. I wondered if the body itself had also been changed. I've been wearing the Maitreya "Lara" body for like...forever. Also, while wearing the demo, i noticed the add-on didn't coven my whole body. The chest and shoulders and parts of the back poked through the add-on demo. Any ideas about that? I'd like to switch to the Maitreya add-on, as i have a lot of difficulty matching skin colors between the V-Teck "Boichest" add-on and the avatar skin. Thank you, RR

Suddenly, when shopping, i get anerror message saying "cashier denied" or something like that. It seems to be just for one avatar. Two alt avatars aren't affected. Why would this be and what can i do? Thank you, Robin

Hi everybody. My avatar is a femboy type, using the V-Tech Boi Chest Mod with the Maitreya Lara shape and a young male skin from KidzLab (called Natural Boy). The KidzLab skin color doesn't match well with the Boi Chest skin color. I've fooled around with it a lot and gone through virtually every skin of every kind in my inventory and can't get a match. I really hate having two-tone skin. Does anybody know of a soft, feminine-looking skin that's a SURE match for ANY of the V-Tech Boi Chest skin colors? Thank you, RR

Lillith, I'm sorry for not answering you properly. The problem is that I'm not sure what the answers are. As far as i can figure, I'm wearing in the pictures the following: 1. The Maitreya Lara body. (4.1, i think) 2. The LURE Emily shape. 3. The LURE Emily "Rose" skin. 4. The V-Tech Boi chest mod in the "Tone B" color. 5. "Emily shape for Lelutke Chloe Bento Head" This is the wild card, i think. Does it mean I'm wearing a Lelutke mesh head? There are three other options in the LURE Emily package. All name a different head. If I am wearing a mesh head, where is the HUD that controls it? If I'm not wearing a mesh head, then what AM i wearing? As far as appliers, I know that I had to use an Omega kit to get the V-Tech boi chest to work, and I'm also using a Maitreya applier for the skin. I'll try to get better snaps to post, too. Oh...i forgot to ask. How do i find male clothes that will fit a Maitreya Lara body? Or do i have to use female outfits that look masculine? Thanks, RR

Thanks very much for your replies. It helps me a lot. Even though I've studied and worked as a 3D CGI modeler and animator, i still haven't grasped something fundamental about using mesh bodies and heads. I've been trying for months to get this particular look to work. Part of it is that sometimes i get something to work, then try to tweak it and then forget how i got it to work last time. I'll keep trying using your suggestions. Thanks again.

I'm using the V-Tech Boi Chest Mod for Maitreya bodies. I've had a very hard time figuring out how to do this. It's very confusing to me. This skin seemed to match the Boi Chest skintone well when i tried it on in the Pink Fuel store where I bought it. But this is how it looks in other places. I'm wearing the "Emily shape for Lelutke Chloe Bento Head shape, and the "Emily (Rose) - light eyebrows" skin. from Lure. Is there a quick fix for this, like a tattoo or something? If I have the settings wrong, i don't know in what way. Help would be appreciated. Thank you, Robin

I've had a classic avatar for a long time, but it's just not cutting it anymore. I want to create a new av using mesh components. The look I'm trying to achieve is Young Adult Effeminate Male/Femboi/Sissy Human. I know the Kemono line is mostly aimed at furries and anime fans, but could it be modified to look like what I want? I've noticed the hips seem to always be wider than the shoulders. Do they make human heads that don't look like anime characters. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I stopped RP'ing as a feminine young male because i couldn't get my avatar and clothes to look good with the existing mesh bodies, shapes, skins, and clothing. That was months and months ago. I'm guessing things have improved since then. I'd appreciate getting advice and opinions on the best components for making an appealing femboy avatar. I want it to look human - not furry - and not too female. I'd like to keep the look of a male with female prettiness...no boobs or big hips. Thanks!

Thank you everyone for your help. To answer a couple of your questions, i've been on SL for over 6 years, and i've used both the classic avatars and a couple of mesh avatars, specifically the Maitreya Lara, which i don't have much trouble with. But i had someone help me set that up in the game, watching me and providing guidance. I also did the same with a neko avatar using the Kemono body, again with someone helping me. It sounds like the Omega Applier will solve the problem, so I'll try that first and if it doesn't work, i'll be back to whine some more. Thanks again!

Hi. I'm trying to figure out how to make this mesh thing work, and i need help. I'm trying to make a femboy avatar using the ONauhau mesh body. It went pretty well until i tried to put a skin on it. I modified the shape of the body using the regular shape editing tool in the game, and got it looking pretty much the way i wanted. Then when i added one of the skins i'd been using, the shape of the body changed radically and the mesh body was poking through the skin, so it looked like two bodies grafted together badly. Even after i made adjustments in the shape using the same shape editor, it looked terrible. I tried clickng on different items in the ONauhau folder, like "Tattoo Layer" and "Clothing Layer" and "Mask" and a few other things, but i couldn't make it work. So, if anybody wants to help me, i'd appreciate it. Thank you.

I've been having the same sort of problems and in the same time frame...the last 2 or 3 weeks. Up until then, everything was running fine. I have two PC's. One running XP and the other Win 7. Both of them started crashing when I was running SL with Firestorm. Both of them started to slow down, so I downloaded the latest Firestorm viewer. They ran slower than ever (especially when logged in the first time, fetching inventory, crashing repeatedly). Tried different solutions, like turning off unnecessary security programs, clearing RAM, reducing in-game graphics detail, increasing in-game bandwidth. Nothing worked. I got several different viewers and installed them (SL Viewer, Kokua, Dolphin, and Singularity) All crashed at different points. Singularity held out longest before it started slwing down and crashing. At this point, I can't play SL on either PC. Here are the specs on my Win7 machine: 64 bit Dual Processor 3.6 GHz CPU 6 Gig RAM NVidia GeForce GTX 750Ti

Hi everybody. Whenever I buy an AO, i find some of the animations included in the package are not available to me from the AO interface. I just get a message from SL to that effect. Also, i get the ide you can load your individual animations into one AO instead of having several AO products in your inventory. Is that true? If so, how do i do it? Thanks, Robin

Everytime i try to use voice in Viewer 2 (latest version) I get an error message saying Microsoft Vivox has to shut down, whereupon it does indeed shut down and no options are available to me as far as voice chat. Does anyone know anything about that? Thank you, Robin
