Looks like you're fishing for drama. A lot of RP sims (which I know for sure are the ONLY places with 'no furry' rules) have something called a 'theme', and they'd like thier players to stick to said theme. If, for example, a RP demands realistic avatars, then, say, a candy-colored bipedal dog with a sword bigger that it is isn't exactly realistc. In the VERY rare event that you find a non-rp sim with a 'no furries' rule, forget 'em and move on. Not worth your time.

Gestures are fine, in moderation. However, 'moderation' seems to be a word missing from some people's vocabulary. I've been to concerts where the concertgoers only communicated in gestures. After the 5000th 'HOOOOOOOOOOO', you just want to reach through the monitor and feed the offender thier own arse. As for those people that kill local chat entirely with huge ascii pictures that shove everything else off the screen, forum TOS has forbidden me from saying what I'd like to do with these miscreants. Granted there are some original gestures. For example, tinies love to use gestures, but said gestures are cuter and more original than whatever comes out from a freebie pack. I never got irritated with them, hells it's hard to stay mad at a tiny in general.

Cut your losses and stick to Freeplay. It's less painful that way.

I have no idea. I've heard of people with hundreds of thousands of stuff in thier inv, and they seem to be just fine. However, I've heard people wanting to impose inventory limits on NPIOFS, and that makes my blood boil.... But that's neither here or there. Still, it's a good idea to give your inventory a good mucking out evey now and then, if only to find stuff.

You do know that if you redefine what the meter is in-grid, you'd break nearly every animation and scripted object there is, right? LL dosn't have to do a damn thing, except tweak the camera a bit. Best we can do is educate, educate, educate. Oh and patronize certain shape/skin makers that make the height you like. To be frank though, as long as they aren't pinheads with T-rex arms, I don'r care what height someone is. It's interesting that furries tend to have shorter avis on average than humans. But I think I'm just rambling at this point.

I've learned just to drag and drop layer clothes and body parts onto my avi either prior to, or instead of, making a outfit.
