Whoa...I think my logic circuits just shorted out.

So LL...you talk about a number of things in the July Update post. But when you get to the Marketplace you mention something called "Direct Delivery", that some beta merchants loved it, then on you go! Ummm...what the HECK is "Direct Delivery"? What does it mean? How is it different from the current delivery? Why not have someone proof what you write so that its self-contained and clear instead of leaving us hanging and hoping we someday get an answer.

Hitomi, if you see your land textures appearing one way...and you terraform to make it the most attractive blend of texture and land shape, then you log in again and see the textures appearing completely different, I'm sorry, but that is NOT A FEATURE. Calling that a feature, is like calling a Crash "An efficient way to log out". That's just crap. Again, why don't the textures appear in the same pattern every time you visit?

Why is it when I terraform land to accomodate the highs and lows in the terrain textures, when I return the highs and lows are different? This requires entire parcels and often entire sims to have to be redone and costs literally hours of work each time. Can't LL get anything right? Do they have a QA team? They really need one. Does anyone know why this happens or how to avoid it?

Its sad when someone else can do your job better than you...when you get PAID for doing it. Yes, I'm talking to you, Linden Lab. Open Source repeatedly preferred over first party? Having to turn to Open Source developers because you can't innovate or get it right on your own? Sad...just sad.

Can we PLEASE have Notes back on our own profiles? I kept my To Do List in there, URL's for music streams...all very important for business and sim owners. WHY would you take away a feature like that? It was hard enough getting used to the senseless removal of the More/Less button on the Edit window, but the Notes tab in our own profile? C'mon Linden Lab...THINK FIRST!

I wouldn't be overly concerned, Yuukie, I highly doubt SL will be around through September 2011. I've been predicting it since June this year and I would bet real money on it. October 1, 2011 will see SL having gone dark or having made an announcement to do so. Mark my words.

And its community? Was that built instantly and for free? Its not the CODE that's the problem.

Typical LL dumbassery. And yes, that's now a word. It was coined to describe the unending stream of short-sighted decisions LL has a talent for making again and again. This being just the latest. Don't worry, there will be more. Stupidity knows now end. For what its worth, I feel for you. I'm sorry so many other non-SL'ers were denied something that had true value. But again, typical of LL to not see beyond their own stupidity.

BTW, LL...deleting posts just because we don't like your decisions isn't "Listening" either. Its censorship in its WORST form. Welcome Kim and good luck, You're going to need it.
