  1. I did try to reproduce the logger, but with no luck. Not related to using the marketplace teleport.
  2. This might sound crazy, but could this maybe be in some way related to using the web-based teleport through the marketplace? Since deleting my logs folder, I've only experienced the quick flash crash logger, but I noticed that after using the marketplace to teleport to a store in-world, the crash logger lingers until I close it (as I reported in the OP). I've since deleted the logs folder and am back to the quick logger.
  3. To clarify, I'm only seeing the crash logger pop-up once I've closed the viewer. Though, reading your report, it does sound like you're experiencing what I've been going through for over a week now. Hopefully this can be resolved; it doesn't impact my experience, but it's annoying. EDIT - I deleted my logs folder as you mentioned in the report, but while I'm still seeing the crash logger appear after closing the client, it's now closing very quickly (as you oringally reported). This is using the current public viewer build available from the site.
  4. The requested information was posted. Will we get any assistance?
  5. Having a crash logger appear every time you close the client should not be considered a 'normal' anything.

  7. For a couple of weeks now, I've been experiencing a weird issue: Whenever I close my SL viewer (latest Linden viewer), the program closes just fine, but I get a small pop up window: Second Life Crash Logger Sending to alternate server, try 1 ... It's the strangest thing. I've tried reinstalling the viewer, but it continues to flash this error every time I close out. i5-3570k @ 3.4 GHz 8 GB RAM GTX 660Ti Win-7 64x (SP1)
  8. I'll give the compact chat a shot and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.
  9. I've been experiencing the opposite: I start to lose frames as my local chat log fills up, but clearing out transcripts takes me back to 60+ instantly. Strangely, opting out of logs and transcripts seems to have no effect.
  10. So I've been scouring the forums lately to see if there were any other reports of this, but as of the last few weeks (don't remember when the first instance was) I've noticed that SL has been eating objects I set out. Most recently, I tried to lay out a nice--expensive--rug given to me by a friend, and after just a few seconds while the scripts initialized, it disappeared. It wasn't returned to me--not in my lost and found, my trash, or anywhere else in my inventory. I brought in the parcel/sim owner to see if they could find the object, but it was nowhere to be found. Just a few moments ago,
  11. I love when people who voice disappointment or disapproval are assumed to be insatiable or just uninformed. I'll sum up those replies thusly, "Remember, kids, if you disagree with me, it's because you're stupid and need to be shown the way. With time and teaching, you'll think correctly just like me!" I'm tired of having to use third party viewers because LL has failed to ensure a higher standard of QA. My client worked fine until June, when sweeping changes were made that make playing on my rig completely worthless. Blackscreens, incompatibility with current display drivers, and seemingly ra
  12. So... Mesh. That's really the only update to SL. Everything else is either fluff or more SLbook garbage? I just feel a bit disappointed--with so many client issues causing people to resort to third party viewers, or people giving up completely because the client is simply broken, stuff like premium membership changes and social status updates seem disingenuous.
  13. GTX 460 SE here. Started getting these issues this morning, but had no trouble after updating to the latest SL patch yesterday--and even managed a problem-free login this morning. I can't get in at all now. This is how you keep people interested in your product: Make it unplayable for them.
  14. This is utter garbage. A clunky addition to a UI that is already clunky. It makes accessing anything absolutely a chore, and doesn't seem to add anything to my experience within SL. If I wanted to use Facebook or any of that other social media crap, I'd have gone there. In SL, I want to stay in SL.
