  1. Okay, this'll be a long explanation so stay with me here xD I've been working on texturing some stuff and, well, was wondering if there is a more bare-bones SL client or 3rd party client I could work with? I have 2 computers, a laptop and a desktop. My desktop doesn't have the capability to run Second Life or most of its 3rd party clients but I do all of my texturing work on here. My laptop runs SL's firestorm with ease but can't run anything but a browser at the same time without crashing. I want to work on my avatar's shape while texturing so everything is more fit to my avatar, especially when I get into skinning since the skins tend to look okay on Ruth[s shape and then crappy on just about any shape outside of that. So if you understand this, any ideas of what I can do? @-@
  2. But my friend is under 18 and is allowed in moderate
  3. Apparently 18 and under are allowed into Mpderate areas, yet every time I try to change my security settings, it is locked and won't let me change them from general :/ Is there a fix to this issue at all?
  4. Thank you Faubio and Nalates :3 I followed what both of you said, and that blog was very helpful! ^^ Thanks again!
  5. I already said it crashes before it gets to the log in screen o_O plenty of space on my computer as in I have 302gb out of 372gb free I have a Nvidia geforce 8800gt card 2.00GB RAM Intel® Core2 Quad CPU @2.40GHz Do note that I'm only so old I haven't been using windows 7 very long, and even when I was on windows vista, I never had to nor bothered to look for my CPU or RAM, or even my graphics card. I've never had a problem with something running.
  6. I can't do a system restore it never worked on my current system. and I meet all the requirements... Windows 7; 64-bit I have an Nvidia card, plenty of space... and I tried everything that the help center said and I really don't get an error message, it just closes and the little report bug thing comes up... and yes it's the most recent version. Nothing on my computer apparently needs updating either
  7. I run windows 7, and each time I try to open second life, it crashes while loading, before it even gets to the log in part. Am I doing something wrong? o.o
