I have the same problems when I use my boyfriend's laptop. It's a graphics card issue. Try updating your drivers. -
hi..need help what can i doo
Aurelia Lionheart replied to gokhanh's topic in General Discussion Forum
I never ever give people money when they ask to borrow some. I guess it's like in RL.. 9 out of 10 times you either have to pressure them paying you back (and ruin the "friendship" or they don't pay claiming they already did. -
Are you drifting away from SL
Aurelia Lionheart replied to Lucinda Bulloch's topic in General Discussion Forum
At times I feel like leaving SL for what it is. I still love it... but all the people causing drama, take things serious that they shouldn't. At times if feels like people lost their sense of humor on SL and only live for the drama only/ I play SL for fun and my humor is kinda the sarcastic one. I don't need negative, humorless people in SL. But they seem to be everywhere. -
There is fake Marketplace website. In serveral groups I've seen residents encouraging others to check out free items on Marketplace. Once logged in your account is compromised and your lindens are stolen. Because they say it's free stuff, I guess a lot of people get curious, their greed is taking over. I also heared about bad scripted giftcards going round in SL, clearing out your balance once you open them. But I'm not sure that's true.. you still have to grand acces to take lindens from your account if you use a scripted item I think. But anyways seems like some bad seeds are taking advantage of SL residents at the moment

Word is our club is one of the best looking clubs in SL and that is why we are looking for the classiest looking and best emoting girls on the grid. Work a minimum of 5 hours a week, no shifts and part of our great events. Dancers at all times wear burlesque outfits or classy lingerie. So before you hop over to grab that application form at our frontdesk, make sure you have what it takes to be a Wiggle Room Dancer! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Milan/63/61/22

Lynna Yorcliffe wrote: What people who want to track you do without a online tracker or True status indicator. They send you a notecard, or 1 linden, or a IM to see if the server responds that you are not online. Unless they make changes - it has been in the past that if the users was faking the offline status you would NOT get a response from the server. Persons truly offline would cause the server to respond that the inventory had been saved, or the user was not online and that the message had been saved. GROUPS - have online status or LAST SEEN dates. Finding if someone is online or when they were last online has in the past been one way people have been able to find out if someone was really online or not - and faking offline status. So unless all these things are done away with - The regulations against Third party viewers showing true online status of friends is pointless. So if there are all these other options people can use to see if you are online, there is really no need for a True Status indicator, is there :matte-motes-wink:

Donating clothes to Newbies
Aurelia Lionheart replied to Aurelia Lionheart's topic in General Discussion Forum
Thanks for all the replies. People who think I want to dump my trash on newbies are so wrong. My old newb stuff I just delete. Some look so terrible you don't want anyone to wear them. It's mostly stuff I gathered on hunts, gifts (yes sometimes you get stuff from other people thinking "I'm so not gonna wear that") and stuff like that. All that is transferable I figured I'd make someone else happy with it. -
Every now and then I go through my inventory, deleting stuff I never use/wear and boxing things like clothes that are transferable, with the idea of making a newbie happy. But I rarely meet newbies and if I do they look like they have been in the game for ages. I walked around SL for 1 year thinking I had a great looking avi but in fact I looked horrible.. like a dragqueen. Anyways, my question: What are the best places to go and make newbies happy with the stuff I do not use?

I used to have the biggest fun with my SL sister at the infohubs. They indeed are a gathering place for all kinds of people and creatures so a great spot to hang out and meet new people. Not all people like clubbing or shopping in SL.. they like to chat, mix and mingle. Also a lot of people do not have a home location and the infohubs are the first place they arrive to log in. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with hubs.

Can This Resident Really Do This?
Aurelia Lionheart replied to OiiiO's topic in General Discussion Forum
LoveAngeL Lyre wrote: Is a violation of the TOS to look a "hot" avatar? Of course not. Just forget it and continue to enjoy your SL. Btw i would suggest her, if she doesn't desire to be looked, to buy a whole region and stay 24/7 there. Or that she just delete her account :matte-motes-big-grin-squint: -

Where did these items go?
Aurelia Lionheart replied to pibebrusle's topic in General Discussion Forum
Ack! You know what happend? SL took everything in 2 or 3 goes. Making a bundle of some of your items. If you rezz the items you took back you will see that some will include your trees, pets, etc. My advice: remove things one by one Now your stuck with one big mess of items -

Irresponsible Resident
Aurelia Lionheart replied to ildiko Evergarden's topic in General Discussion Forum
If you think that's bad.. you know how often I hear women talk on voice will working in a stripclub or escort area and hear their kids on the background. I honestly wonder what kind of mothers those women are. Doing the nasty stuff while your kids are running past the computer and hear their mother get frisky on voice with guys. Those women should be reported too! -

Help! The Marketplace doesn't deliver.
Aurelia Lionheart replied to a topic in General Discussion Forum
When I see something on Marketplace, I go to the inworld shop and buy it -
We are a new burlesque-themed club with a beach and mini-mall and are inviting a very select few vendors to set up in our available spaces. There aren't many stalls but I hope you'll find them very reasonably priced :) The huts come in 2 sizes only.. 10x10: which has a 25 prim allowance at 100L per week 10x20: which has a 50 prim allowance at 200L per week. If you do need something slightly different or alterations made we would be happy to try and accommodate your needs. Please IM if you have any questions or concerns, Teri Tatham Aurelia Lionheart http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Milan/63/61/22
