  1. Join us @ NoonSLT for our Thursday Session with DJ Sun of SUNVIBES making the music. The snakes have retired under the rocks and the Dassies are peering out from the dark. Wear something African or come as you are...but be here !!!!!!
  2. I have deeded my homestead region to my group. On that region I have 4 parcels which I would like to deed to another group I own to be able to limit access of each parcel to that new group. Is this possible without being concerned with the amount of prims on each etc.
  3. It's Saturday... and we present 12 hours of continuous Bop in your Seat COUNTRY HITS. Dance the night away at THE TAVERN on our ROMANTIC and NATURAL Island.
  4. Why do contributors to these forums slice sentences from posts and comment only on those sentences and ignore the rest. One sentence or even a paragraph may not reflect the meaning of the post in general. I do not say rules do not exist ...that is really silly... I still say that most people entering photo contests in SL do so for the fun.....and they assume that the photograph should be taken by the equipment contained in the Second Life viewer. Use your technical process skills and expensive software and equipment to produce creative imagery.... but use it please for personal albums and advertising products if you are unfortunate enough to have to make money in SL.
  5. I have never seen a contest where it is clearly stated that photoshop is forbidden. Even if it was in the small print most Second Lifers would not be aware that they were beaten by a Photoshop treated production. Photoshop professionals would generally have an unfair advantage so therefore why would anybody not proficient at Photoshop ever enter a contest in SL?
  6. In my view photos of SL entered into contests should not be retouched or edited in Adobe Photoshop. Surely such use would give an unfair advantage to the photographer depending on how skilled his use was of the software.
  7. Saturday 2-4pm SLT. Join us here at Willows Peak, we are opening our Dance Club. Ellisson plays Country. Relax with us. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sanctuary%20Isle/53/10/21
  8. In my view the people who deserve the accolades in Second Life are the creators. Those that purchase...design or build their sims although talented are of course limited by what is available. Nature to me is the most beautiful and the most difficult to imitate in our virtual world. Visit and contact resident Tomera Somerset and she would love to explain the emotions surrounding our home at Willows Peak. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sanctuary%20Isle/190/166/27
  9. Try Willows Peak..you will not be disappointed. http://www.willows-peak.com
  10. Once you do all that and you still dont get your product...you will file a ticket and the lab will tell you to keep trying and I quote....'Reach out to the vendor'...bless his heart. If the vendor wants to respond he will....if he doesn't want to ...he will not ...there is nothing you can do but wait ....and hope for a reasonable vendor who has nothing to hide. Maybe he has gone walkabout to dream and left his shop open to sort itself out as in my case. I was told recently by a contributor that sometimes the product is delivered to the purchaser and the vendor knows nothing about it. Oh well..apparently its a bug...happy days...I still havent got my product after a week....go well...
  11. I purchased a product on Marketplace and was advised that I could return the product in the event of malfunction. The item malfunctioned and I returned it for a replacement. After some days I was told that the person concerned was not often in Second Life so there is nothing they could do at this time. When I tried to write a review on market Place to let purchasers know of my problems I was told that I must purchase the item before making a review. Is a vendor able to delete a purchasers record of sale to avoid negative reviews? How can I best bring the attitude of this vendor to public notice?
