Its a good thing me and my hubby is not in this to get rich. For us its fun, a place where ppl can enjoy themself. A place where amateurs can start out. we are not getting anything out of it, nor have we hope to. For us its pure fun. It can be expensive for someone who has no other income, living on welfare and decide to get rich in a virtual game. I as a club owner (and maybe some others out there) will not be bother if you dont have bread on the table, just because you feel you have to invest in a game where there is no garantee, will not make us "feel sorry for you". Good luck on finding a job here in sl. I do hope you will file your yearly tax returns as in germany we call that "Schwarzarbeit" Having a "good dj equiment" doesnt make you a good dj or a better one. There are so many djs out there with their simply sam and winamp and they are djs with class. I like to songs i can sing along to and not music that i only here the bass and nothing more..( I can always tune into Sunshine Live). Maybe you should change your way of thinking. Great you Dj for a living, but do not expect djing in sl will pay the bills, put food on the table.. If thats what you think, I am so sorry for you. Use your money wisely. Invest in finding more Rl Gigs..like advertising yourself..and not in a virtual world where most club owners are doing this for fun. Where do you think the owners get the money to pay you? I sure havent found a Linden$ tree here, and I doubt I will find one. There are a few clubs out there that will actually pay a dj, but in the long run, it will get too expensive. The retirement money has been runned or the paycheck that comes in weekly is getting low. Most of the djs that say they dj in rl, thinks they can earn a living in sl. That will not happen. There are djs out there that dj for fun, like my staff and myself. Those are the ones I AM aiming to find. Not Djs that say they are poor and they need to pay their bills so we need to pay them. I do not see it as spaming, its call ADVERTISING. If you read a newpaper and check out the wanted side and see same ad, everyday, would you call it spam? If you went to 5 different sl job centre and see one of the same advert in all 5 is that spaming? No, i do not think so. I am a dj too, and I love to dj and for me is doing my best to the 2 hours I have. I, like my djs are not in to get RICH, now djs that WANTS or DEMAND cash for djing, are just in it for the cash, . NO MONEY no DJING and they wouldnt even care if they were djing at a empty club. They wouldnt event try to promote the club they are working at. They would probably complain and demand more money. The Djs I have, are djs at heart, can you same thing? I know they are out there and I will find them. It is not the 1k dj that fills a club, its a dj that does it at heart. There are many clubs that's out there that cannot afford to throw in 1500 to djs and not getting anything in return. Its call waste of money and guess what, they are more likely to get laid off faster than a dj who djs at heart that bring in a few vips.
