I really and trully hope theyve given him the boot.... then he can get back to his sims and we can see what the next one tries..... probably a new avvy for each premium member in the shape of a giant plywood cube....lag free and oblivious of draw distance....

... and dont tell me turning pathfinding off doesnt make a differerence...it does .. download a usage meter go to shady where its turned off take a reading of the usage...then try Gorgonzola a region where I own land and cant shut the wretched thing off or get live help to deactivate it either and watch those megabytes pile on.... turning draw distance down - negligible effect.

Linden never fear about giving 'good' customer service when apologists for second rate second life are around.. I dont pay a 150 dollars a month ( not including membership premium) to turn my 'draw distance down' or anything else that reduces quality of service.... the answer to me seems simple turn that usless pathfinding off go test it on a beta grid and come back when it works properly.

The reasoning is 'screw the 'community' we'll do it our way - because we can hide behind TOS and screw the payments out of the 'community'regardless.....'

They should start with the CEO...under whose guidance SL has reached its lowest ebb.....

p45 is a tax document people in england get from their employer when their employment is terminated.....its almost synonymous in that context with getting the chop..... or if Id said 'heads should roll'

Another week at least offline but you greedy so and sos still expect full tier and membership from those of us who cant get in a damned disgrace !! in the parlance of england 'a few p45s should be being handed out here....'

Everyones bandwidth is being devoured except the elite few who have the ability to turn pathfinding off .... whether its an inconvenience depends on the limits agreed with your isp... No wonders Roddy is hiding people in his home country are likely to have been hit hardest,,,,,

Maybe he cant get on line because certain issues caused him to exceed his ISPs gb allowance....... who's going to tell Rddy to keep an eye on his usage

And if they do everyone will be complaining about the lag they cause and trying to do what theyre attacking the op for doing .....

Just spoken to my ISP to sort out extra gbs on my allowance. Having explained the situation my ISP reckons Lindens should at least give recompense for any gigabytes used over a usage limit.... how strange I agree with them... Cant be many companies who actually say they're liable for a problem then actually use their terms of service to get out of giving recompense to customers they cause a problem for.... and the latest news is that this problem looks as if its carrying on and on... Im beginning to think this is some crafty ploy to push islands where the elite have more control over these stupid problems lindens technical boys keep introdcing...

Sorry but I think Lindens currently deserve everything they get............For lack of service in relation to the amount of money they get from me Lindens are almost unparalleled in terms of poor customer service. I think the only people who've come anywhere near are Hewlett Packard.

What about the customer who has trouble with a merchant - theres one in particular who gives especially poor service...now what's it called.. oh yes...Linden Research..

You'll be lucky...boundary crashing is viewer independent and has been for years...despite a previous CEOs promise to have the problem fixed ....he left just before his deadline ran out...naturally.

Opppps bumped - if only because the problems still there...still going on...still smashing up the bandwidth usage of the unwary.... while Lindens still expect you to cough up your tier fees and membership payments as if nothing happened because you agreed to signing up to a possibly buggy non continuous service... even if youve been out of sl for almost two weeks or more.....

Wont give refunds or reimburse people screwed by incompetent technical tinkering ...but here have a free piece of tat instead....surely that makes the fact you havent been able to use the land youre paying an enormous tier for seem not so bad after all....

I consider this offer an insult at a time when Im unable to get into sl without fear of exceeding the GB usage limit set by my isp...last night I used 128mbs of my 'allowance' in a few minutes.....Ive not been into sl properly for a fortnight now and we only have vague stories that this issue will be rectified next tuesday... I wonder if this was intended as some kind of very bad joke...the gifts a buggy - and so is sl.....

Greed is the overriding impulse at Lindens...reduced tiers, increased free land DONT MAKE ME LAUGH we've been asking since the invisible man became CEO ... and recent events have proved to me that when it comes to lindens giving back anything which means delving into linden's coffers there's.... .....NOT A HOPE...

The latest Linden idea is to make people spend less time in sl for the same amount of money by making the place virtually impossible to exist in...unless you can handle the lashing of lag treacle to wade through ..or better yet paying your ISP for all those extra gbs you used over your limit.....

Youre clearly dismissive of anyone in my situation..after five years of use in sl I dont expect a sudden issue to arise with a TENFOLD increase in gb usage...ONE WHICH SL HAVE ALSO TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY FOR..... which in my opinion makes lindens liable for any losses or increased charges.....and youre also clearly a person who expects to say what he wants but then has the nerve to demand respectful responses... dream on pal. I just wish the stupid ignore system on this forum was working...

Echo Im not standing by while someone like Legion has his say and clearly expects no come back.... if sl looses paying users who according to him 'wont be missed' whose ultimately going to fund sl...look at the map isnt enough of it abandoned ?? No wonder lindens can do exactly what they want and screw who they want with people like himcontributing to the thread.....
