AR anyone who sends you shooting across SL.... Dont tell me these things arent stupid when you can beam straight into a region you never visited before and end up being shot out immediately by one of these devices.....

Everyone should be made to have a premium account and premium fees and tiers should be reduced...... Why should those paying premium membership fees pay to support a system while others dont...

Legalised griefing tools which should be banned. Theyre an inconvenience to sl explorers who arent doing anything wrong...if I was in a sandbox and I was boosted across sl i 'd ar the culprit -what makes these stupid and ppointless gadgets any different ??

Cars are great if you discount the fact its impossible to cross regional boundaries in them...or find a decent carpark at the end of a journey....or somewhere to rez a vehicle unless you own land next to a road.....

If you want to grief with some validity and cause the maximum disruption to other sl users get a security bot...then you can hurl people across sl with impunity.... Alternatively buy a 16 metre square...you're bound to cause a nuisance to someone sooner or later.....

Why dont I believe these people who seem to be able to tp without trouble., who never go to laggy sims etc ... Ive been in sl five years an tps fail more than they ever have as does trying to cross borders in a vehicle - despite promises this would be fixed.... Personally Ive always believed there was a 'propaganda' machine in operation to pour scorn on those with valid and oft heard complaints.....At the same time Im getting a heightened sense that the people in charge dont actually care that much about whats going on in sl for the long term users... not that the people at the top of the totem pole seemed to care that much anyway.... just keep taking the money and run I think.

Quality of service and value for money are two totally different things from investment which is a gamble - you pays your money you takes your chance as we say here. I dont expect to see anything back for my payment other than a good working service and ever improving features enhancing the inworld experience as some pr person at sl might say... In view of the number of crashes, tp failures and the completely dormant state of inworld building its not really suprising that so many people seem to be cutting back the amount they pay. Linden labs non participation in sl9 celebrations is hardly encouraging either

Personally though I still find these arguments to be a smokescreen for what I consider to be the infinitely more important problems in sl...give lindens the chance and they'll start another mass of ludicrous rule making etc and forget about a failing tp system, boundary crashes and all those problems that seem to get worse not better....

And most of the tinies I know just want to snaffle waffles, river dance,scoff woot berries and generally be mischevious...

I think its a pretty weird set of rules that blocks a real seventeen year old from an adult area but lets someone in the form of a seven year old in....

Surely rather than trying to jump ahead and package sl for another group of users wouldnt it be nice if Lindens tried to focus on sorting out issues which continue to be a headache for existing users. Im crashing on tp more than ever and tps arent actually working 'more than ever'...boundary crashes are still the norm rather than the exception despite the promises of a previous 'seo'... The building menu hasnt undergone any changes for ages and new features for 'inworld' builders are rarer than chickens teeth.... Instead of trying to bundle up sl so that it works on some piddling little screen try and get it working for everyone else. I see this proposed modifications as merely resulting in a diminished service for people who wnat to view sl as they have always done on a decently sized monitor screen. In my book these supposed steps forward never seme to mean improvements...look at mesh... all it meant was clothes that dont properly fit your avi, items which take ages to rez and the inworld building system falling into a state of stasis rather than pushing features forward for inworld builders....

My main concern would be the recouping some of the loss of items Id paid for ... I get the impression from this forum that while USA folks dont seem to be overly concerned about things like value and quality for money and 'consumer rights' Id be over here in the UK seeing if there was any recourse to reclaim anything lost in an SL crash. After all Lindens have gone to lengths to ensure they follow the laws regarding enforcing european taxes... so why shouldnt they be subject to european consumer law if theyre selling their goods here...

I have nothing against child avatars but I do have to wonder whats going on when I see child avvys wandering around adult rated sims... I wouldnt expect a reasonable adult to let kids wander around a porn bookshop or a brothel so why should child avatars be expected in adult areas of a 'sexual nature' especially when theres so much fuss about child pornography etc etc. In my opinion lindens dont allow 'under 18s' in to adult areas ( supposedly) and Im afraid that should go for under 18 looking avys too. Me I dont even go into adult areas when Ive turned into my tiny polar bear form...in my book tinies are rascals but theyre not into naughty stuff

Personally Im aghast at Linden labs decision to not get involved.....Not very encouraging at all and made me ponder the future of SL quite a bit.

Halve tiers, increase peoples free land allowance , and enable people to buy additional single thousand sq metres rather than have massive jumps in the tier and youd soon see land being bought again.... but with lindens current attitude who knows what sl's future is. Im never very encouraged by the stuff I see.....

Mind you they probably think 'what are lndens going to do about it anyway?'

I love how some people think they can circumvent rules just by saying so in their profiles....

Its the land people dont want anymore because of the continually exorbitant tier fees and ridiculous pricing policies maintained by linden labs... And refusal to do anything worthwile for long term customers probably has something to do with it too !!

The two main pieces of land in the region which we are selling have now been 'reconfigured to give ocean access.Naturally we think the two pieces would be better purchased together and fused especially if you want more prims to build and a deep sea area for boating, submarines, rideable sea horses etc. If this area still doesnt provide the eager builder enough prims then theres another square which can easily be fused which in itself has a nice beach marine area. Just the place if you want a huge ocean liner in SL. AND WE'LL HAGGLE OVER THE PRICE - ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT TO GO WILD IN SL AND BUY ALL OF IT.... ;) Contact CULLY ANDEL or myself in world if you want to know more.
