    Fitted Mesh Is Here!

    I dont get it - is the idea to give girls a fat gut and a cleavage they can run a railway train through ?? There's no way this is an improvement - the girl looks better before the fitted mesh unless the outfit she was wearing before actually inmproved on the avy she seems to have after fitted mesh....Whats actually been changed the girls avvy or the outfit ??

  1. Instead of trying to attract new users how about doing something to hold on to loyal long term customers....

     - Increase free land allowances

    - Decrease tiers

    - Set payments in our own currencies via paypal.

    - More Inworld building tools rather than expecting people to build out of world use overly complex mesh creation software. How are you going to attract more people and expect them to spend more time here if theyre out of world working on mesh software ??

    Prioritise tackling the major problems in world. The great Philip promised one of the greatest problems to SL explorers ( boundary crossing crashes would be rectified by last december) - he left before that deadline came and passed without resolution, flickering textures, tp crashes, group chat failures.

    Something which actually appeals to hardcore use who keep sl going via membership and tier payments would be useful too,  Im sick of seeing a load of baubles aimed at attracting newcomers while we get nothing which is why myself and my partner are currently trying to sell our land , reduce our tier and lose one of our membership payments.

    By the way ViNtner its all very well calling people whingers and then going on to stab at large groups of people in sl who dont keep you happy.... incidentally if SL performance is so good how come you need to complain about people generating lag in SL ??

    In my four years the number of crashes is at its worst, border crossing is far from satisfactory, each new viewer adds more problems to textures. Do you actually bother trying to move around sl Vintner  ??

    Something tells me you rarely use the tp or move between regions. Is your avvy a tortoise or the proverbial ostrich forever burying its head in the sand ?

    If youre happy with the service youre getting good luck to you. Me I believe in the old addage the customer is always right a bit dated I know. With Lindens however I always come away with the feeling ' youre lucky to be in sl' rather than  'we're glad to have you as a customer'....

    Incidentally you rubbished the posts of anyone critical of Lindens...and in a coarse and vulgar way.

    Oh and I dont like being patronised either...

    Problems will get fixed with time eh ? How long a time ? Who's still crashing at sim boundaries ? I know I am...thats been going on for at least the 4 years Ive been here...oh and how about assorted texture flickers and problems.....those have been around at least four years too. 'The great philip' promised boundary crashes would be fixed by December -last year- of course he packed in being CEO before the December deadline came and went..and guess what we still have boundary crashes ....


    I can  live with these irritations however. What I cant stomach however is Lindens trying to attract new premium members with usless little titbits while long standing loyal members get nothing....

    Lets face it Lindens have made it clear that they have little regard for their premium membership anyway.

    I notice however that a long last the useless questionairres which we used to get on log in have finally dried up. As far as I can see the views expressed were ignored - for years.

    I wonder what M Linden did to upset Lellani  I guess we'll never know because she 'stabbed  him in the back' after the event' and I wonder where Lellani was when other people were complaining about the viewer 2 she disliked...any complaints with the hordes of others then Lellani....?? I wonder if Lellani was there criticising the many who couldnt stand that viewer ...

    Okay lindens here's what myself and my gf worked out....if we cancel our premium and rented from someone else you first of all loose two premium payments which we'd naturally cancel - we simply wouldnt need them....we however would save not only the premium payment but the vat which we wouldnt have to pay either.....youve never done anything about introducing a seperate tiers and charges for non USA members or done anything to cancel out the effect of fluctuating exchange rates either......

    We like owning our own region but we feel so damn insulted...and we're sick of not getting anything back or anything to encourage us to pay to you.

    The new CEO has been a MASSIVE letdown.

    Ive been a member for four years and never had any 'freebies' from Lindens...the only thing Lindens ever did regards my premium was rapidly slap on v.a.t  with less than a weeks warning to implementation...

    now new members are getting a fifty percent discount. Disgusting and a real slap in the face for loyal customers. WHERE'S MY DISCOUNT LL ????????

    I have the feeling that we may as well screw the premium and go and rent from a third party who wouldnt charge v.a.t...

    I dont want a SOMEONE ELSE'S CHOICE OF HOUSE OR FURNITURE thrust at me.

    WHAT I DO WANT IS SOMETHING WHICH WOULD ENCOURAGE ME TO STAY A PREMIUM MEMBER - IN OTHER WORDS SOMETHING WORTH HAVING --

    FOR EXAMPLE

    A) CHEAPER TIERS AND A BETTER LAND INCREMENT SYSTEM

    B) A HIGHER FREE LAND ALLOWANCE

    C)  A MORE RELIABLE SERVICE

    D) BEING ABLE TO PAY IN  MY OWN CURRENCY THROUGH PAYPAL WITHOUT GOING THROUGH SOME THIRD PARTY

    E) AN INWORLD BUILDING SYSTEM DEVELOPED FROM AND BASED ON THE BUILDING SYSTEM I KNOW.

    I cant believe people not only think these 'trinkets' proferred by Lindens are worth having but that some of them expect customers who feel genuinely annoyed that there is no reward for their loyalty and nothing to improve the lot of the long term premium member to remain uncritical....

Every person who praises these barmy ideas bangs another nail in the coffin of anything that might actually be useful to members... notice these ideas are cheap, cheap, cheap, they cost lindens nothing to lindens theyre getting their cash for trinkets......besides if they hoping that the recent mesh additions are effective all the newbies will simply make their own stuff....

    a greater land allowance for premium members

    members allowed to pay in their own currencies direct to ll without any middle men

    more inworld building tools

    tackling problems like boundary crashes and texture issues which have been going on for years...

     

    suggested on every questionaire and in every version of the forum for four years without result...but yay for you potosi you got me access to a sandbox...why dont you suggest each member be given something really useful - a free chocolate teapot comes to mind....

    When the CEO said he was improving the premium membership I expected greater land allowances tier changes... and what do we get dross, dross, baubles and dross.

     

    I cant believe long term members of Second life are supposed to take this seriously.

  6. Basically creators arent getting the back up they deserve... some might ask whats the point of buying a beautifully crafted horse, car or aircraft or boat when it spins madly out of control or sinks into the grand at a boundary or even parcel crossing...

    and what - some may ask - is the point of trying to build precisely when textures flicker madly no matter how pieces are positioned while some textures cause others to vanish............

All this fuss about Jira ...I always found it too complex...is it too difficult for sl inhabitants to be updated simply on the 'major' technical issues - the problem is that we never do seem to get up dates on issues which seem to go on and on apparently untackled and effect the majority of users - problems with textures vanishing and flickering and the most annoying possible problem (as far as Im concerned) crashing and loosing vehicle control etc at boundary crossings go on and on despite promises from the very top....

    Updates on issues like these are about as common as hens teeth.....
