  1. This high level, graphical ranking may be useful. https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare/GeForce-GTX-1050-Ti-vs-GeForce-GTX-960-vs-GeForce-GTX-950/3595vs3114vs3295
  2. Yep, I use a Redgrave skin and that is correct, the Slink Physique applier package contains a number of different skins, for some reason they do not place any sort of clue near the actual skins they sell, but it is sold in a different spot, in the in world store, when you walk up the stairs to were the guy stuff is, you pretty much look right at this wall that stands in the middle of the room, just like Parhelion says. It was not clear to me based on the demo, which contains a different or smaller set of items. I did not buy the full pack for the longest time, thinking it would not match as my particular skin was not in the demo and I could not get any other to match. Finally i figured what the hell and just bought it and found that the actual product included the applier for my exact skin.
  3. Just updated my Windows Alex Ivy Viewer to 5.1.0.504536 and it's really solid, does not at all feel like the early release they say it is.
  4. Could this be the new bento heads and you are using a viewer that is not up-to-date? Try checking for a more recent version of the viewer you use and if available, update. F.
  5. Also, blocking and derendering them will prevent *you* from seeing *them* and getting any messages etc. from them. *They* will still see *you* and read what you put in local chat etc.
  6. Personally, I felt it was way too much of a hassle and the shopping experience definately was a major turnoff for me, a HUD just to shop around? I did still grab the demo to try it out though But I think it is fairly popular, so I guess we are in the minority. Certainly, I cannot be bothered to deal with that sort of stuff.
  7. I like that a lot, what a nice idea! This is really nice. In Chrome, it did not show me the video, just played audio when I clicked your link. Opened it in VLC to watch it. That worked fine.
  8. Yes, that is possible. In Preferences, go to the General tab and check "Allow multiple viewers". Then just start another instance of the viewer and log on your additional avatar.
  9. It might be useful if people would share what network adapter and driver they use, perhaps there is a pattern. Start > Computer Management > Device Manager, then expand Network adapters, double-click adapter, gather information from Driver tab. You can see in mine how the driver for the Qualcomm adapter is the Microsoft provided one that came with Windows 10 install, while the Intel adapter uses the manufacturer's driver.
  10. Yes, a notification is sent: Message subject is "Second Life Partner: Parting Ways" " You and your Second Life Partner have parted ways. <partner> has decided to end the partnership. Best Regards, Your Friends at Linden Lab http://secondlife.com -- PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL - Your reply will not be recieved by <partner> . If you wish to contact them, please do so directly."
  11. Seems straighforward: step 1: sell Linden $ for RL currency step 2: use RL currency to buy Sansar $ Done.
  12. I do not believe the blocked person (sender) gets any feedback; messages etc. are just silently dropped and not delivered to the recipient. It would to some extent defeat the purpose if any feedback would be given.
  13. When? Since day 1, that's when. There is no fundamental problem preventing it from working just fine. If you want help, I would suggest you post exactly what the problem is, include detailed error messages, information about your computer, etc. Simply complaining "It doesn't work" doesn't cut it. Perhaps you will find this useful: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/win10
  14. Yes, if you share any group memberships with the person in question, you can see the day they were last logged on in the group's member list.
  15. I thought that was a function of how the mesh object is made, level of detail? Our Redgrave house is advertised as "LOD-optimized (our houses will never disappear from whatever distance or LOD level, except outside your set draw distance)" But I really don't know for sure, I am just a consumer.
  16. Maybe a stupid question, but are using the required project viewer? http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Project_OculusRift/3.7.18.295296 Or are you simply trying to get this to work with the latest default viewer? F
