My SL view crashes upon uploading an image into SL. I make clothes.. and this is very annoying. I have done research and found that others have a similar issue. I do not have MS skydrive installed. I have cleared my cauche, uninstall, and reinstalled SL. Still crashes. This is a recent problem, yesterday I was able to upload images just fine with no problems. I've done nothing different to my PC in the last two days. The files have no special characters and there is only 4 files in the folder. Any other ideas?

I would like to make a profit yes.. so I have to decide if I really want my hobby to become like that, then I do need to take the steps to protect it and myself. The SE Tax, that I would have to pay out at the end of the year. That is based off my actual earnings correct?

I have been a member of SL life for many years now. I come and I go. I'm a fashion designer as a hobby here. I am now back and I'm looking at doing more designs. I recently came across something that has happened to a store I've known since I first created my AVI. I remembered getting my first skins in this store. http://curioonline.org/2012/07/05/curio-news-release/ Here is the information on it. This has actually scared me, I know content stealing has been around for years now. I myself have never had to deal with it because I'm not big, I'm really small compared to so many others. My issue is now this.. and I'd like to ask the professionals here on SL what they think. Should I register my business on SL in my state? And if I do, what protections will I have? If someone throws me a lawsuit like this, I can't afford to fight it, I'd just end up shutting down my store. If I register my business, will I have to pay taxes? I live in the state of texas and my proceeds from SL do not reach over 100.00usd per month.

YES! The second one worked like a charm! Thank you so much, I've been texturing these things for the past 4 years by each face and this will take all that time away! Thank you for helping me!!! :matte-motes-big-grin-squint: The last one worked but it didn't texture the faces I wanted it to texture. It did however texture two of the faces on the prim.

Thanks a bunch, I ended up doing - default { touch_start(integer detected) { llSetLinkTexture(LINK_SET, "texture#goeshere", 1); } } any chance that I can do face 1 and 2 at the same time?

I'm wanting a script that I can place in a root prim and apply a texture to that root prim and it will then apply it to all the child prims. After that I can delete the master prim. I'd like only 1 script, no child scripts. Anyone know of a script that can do that?

I'm new to making skins and I'm messing around here. I thought the way to make a skin was the upload it into SL, New skin, edit skin, and change the 3 tattoo layers to your head, upper, and lower body but my skin isn't changing. What am I doing wrong? I keep putting textures in those three places but it wont let me save them.
