  1. Haven't seen anywhere anything that says that the neighborhood stops at a certain height. That's like saying half of a skyscrapper is no longer part of a city cause the upper floors are too high.
  2. The whole parcel, at any height, is a Linden Home parcel; The parcel is the linden home. I am sure he does not only means the physical home you see on ground level. The 2000 meter restriction is just for placing skyboxes, so you dont have vissible boxes floating around if you are at ground level, hoever, the conduct and commercial/advertisement rules applies up there regardless. What also does not applies, cause it just doesnt makes sence, is the visual guidelines of keeping it looking tidy and in theme, since a floating box is already breaking that.
  3. The covenant applies to the whole parcel regardless of height.
  4. I would take example on the SL16B guidelines for performers and exhibitors, I would guess that would be a more fitting guideline for a space like the Fairground, and the SLB is also a linden funded special use space. Performers are the only ones allowed to collect tips or any form of payment at the SLB, and only diring their time. Commercial activity like sales or direct advertisement is also prohibited, however, advertisement for community groups is allowed. Considering that the same people managing the SLB is also assigned to manage the Fairground, there is a good chance these same guidelines might be used. I would.
  5. Is safe to say the covenant applies fully to homes and their inmediate surroundings. I have my doubts on other areas like public common spaces and large water areas. These areas are not homes, and on regular mainland areas with no homes on them, you don't find such restrictions. Sadly, it does seems that the covenant has only been copy pasted on all regions regardless of the region actual purpose and use, and the covenant focuses on the residential aspect and the inmediate surroundings of the homes, certainly leaving some holes like the case of the fairground, and i would even extend it to regions that only have water, intended for traffic.
  6. I am awaiting for an official response as well here. However, I beleive the covenant applies to the homes. An event venue is not a home but a special space for special use. Rules may not work the same way. Very likely even the lindens in charge of this didnt had in mind these situations on the fairgrounds, so, there is probably not even an answer for this.
  7. When so many people are doing the same thing, that tool is no longer any help. There is probably absolutely no chance if you are trying normally without using the auto-refresh, so I guess is atleast something.
  8. What I don't understand is why they can't be more clear and open with people. Information is calmimg, regardless if is good or not. I am not aware of any heavy competition that prevents them from making plans public. If the info leads to large delays in the process, so be it. Honesty is much better than secrecy. Atleast people would understand better why they are waiting exactly.
  9. Let me help you there: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hotboxing
  10. not just that, also the fact an "Alt" doesnt really means anything. An account is an acount. An user can use any account at any time, doesnt make one account less legitimate than the other.
  11. There is a huge need for hotboxing one of the homes and put everyone inside, and not talking about hot air!
  12. My experience so far is about who cracks the best jokes replying to pretty much any message that pops up.
  13. @Tommy Linden congrats on your new home.
  14. Alright, is important for me to know that you understand that an avatar is not really you. It is a character you created, just like a sim on a Sims game, or your charager in GTA online. Your avatar is not entitled to any laws cause is not a human being. The privacy of an avatar cannot be violated, or any rights in that sence. However, you, as a person behind, are protected, but in other ways.. Your information is stolen, you are cyber bullied (tho you seem to be one already), among other things. But what you are mentioning is pretty much unreasonable.
  15. Never been close enough to a home in RL to right click the land on a house to get the owner information.
  16. Of course, if that was an actual person, and depends on the context (trust me, I made a real career in photojurnalism). Let's not pretend an avatar is an actual living person.
  17. There, thats the thing. I saw a blue dot on map and took a look. Thats all there. If i do go to your new home, oh i am sure stalker won't be the only word flying around.
  18. I don't mind about reputation points. What difference does it makes apart of competing for who's the king of the forum? (Serious question)
  19. I swear I stumble upon random things without looking for them. Go ahead Sylvia, lets hear another joke of yours.
  20. I would post the chat here, but I don't feel like trowing more gasoline on the fire. I don't understand why Abnor chose to continue the argument here after hours passed, but I am certainly not interested on continue it. That is all I will add on this matter.
  21. Beg to differ. I shared a picture earlier today, same picture as one avobe here in fact. Next I know I see a pretty big blue paragraph of abnor blowing steam directly at me. This is actually quite common in Second Life as we all know, but sadly is not common to see it happening on such color of lettering.
