Thanks Peewee, I should have known it couldn't have been that easy :-)

If a script retrieves an avatar name and retrieves a profile picture based on firstname.secondname (https://my.secondlife.com/firstname.lastname)  it will work for old style names but not for new ones as it tries to look at 'firstname.resident' which doesn't exist but https://my.secondlife.com/firstname does. As a script can retrieve the 'born' date it would be able to differentiate based on the date of  the new naming style coming into effect. (In case one might wonder why I'm asking :-) ) Any reply appreciated. Puitia.
