Okay, I know you guys may not be able to offer the help I need per-say, and I am aware that Radegast is a 3rd party, but this has legit freaked me tf out and I need some guidance if possible. -------- Since my PC is in the middle of upgrades, I'll use a text-client for Second Life called "Radegast." I've used this program on and off for years without an issue. That changed last night. I went to get a drink from the kitchen and just as I came back there was the familiar *ding-ding* of an instant message. Since I don't get messages a lot from my friends I was curious to see who this was from as I was active in a group chat moments prior. He starts off his message basic, "Hi. How are you?" I go to reply and before my fingers reach the keyboard, my name pops up, "Hello. I'm fine thanks. How are you?" Usually I'll have auto-response on so naturally, I checked to see if it was because sometimes I'll forget what I have done in settings. #noshame I return to the message window and he's asked another question. Again, I go to reply and there is my name again... But it doesn't make sense, this reply. It's almost like a chat-bot replied (Mr. Spanky - for those who know this bot in particular.) He replied, but around that time I closed out of Radegast and uninstalled it and for good measure I uninstalled Firestorm as well, followed by updating my password and e-mail. After all this, I ran several scans, looking for anything remotely suspicious. All my scans came up negative. In my 30 years of using the internet, this has only happened ... Maybe twice. The first instance logging into my AOL handle and starting ***** with my friends; the second time my PC would randomly shut down before I could run any sort of scans on it to find the culprit. So naturally, I'm in the midst of freaking out and calm. My search results are damn near difficult to get a straight answer, what with the dating terminology that defines GHOSTING as someone suddenly dropping all contact with an individual.

Guessing this is what you're after? If you're using Firestorm, you want to be in User Interface > 3D World > Tick "Hover Tips" > "Show Extended Information on Hovertips (Phoenix Style). I'm a Caregiver to my Mother; my AFK game is strong. A lot of the time I don't see messages in a timely manner...Then there are times when I DGAF and close the message out and move on. 98% of the time I am not friendly so if anyone takes my silence personal, it's on them.

Okay, so... Marketplace. I'll add something to my cart then after a while go to pay for it all and it's suddenly empty. 2k worth of stuff-to-buy is suddenly gone. I did make sure that I got the "this has been added to your cart!" confirmation before moving on. While it's not a pain to re-add everything, it does make me extremely hesitant about buying Linden and MP items. Grid Status does not name any NEW issues that I know of unless it popped up while writing this post. Is anyone else having this issue?

That's why I avoid platform heels, sneakers, or boots (no matter how many beautiful buckles and spikes there are...) like the plague. Even though my avatar is short, her legs all of a sudden are not and I end up tweaking my shape instead of taking off the platforms like a normal person. Since you asked, they do look a bit too long - but it could also, as I said, be because of the platforms.

Girl, I've been playing with lighting a lot more...Make my pictures, you know-- better. I recently came to find out that a corset fat pack I bought... The spikes and chains sparkle. SPARKLE. It totally destroyed the fetish goth look I thought I had going on. Since I'm not wearing it at present I can't tell if it's Modify. The HUD offers no option to turn off the glitter look I had no idea was there. It's pretty, the sparkle...But like I said: It wasn't expected. Back on-topic, I don't care to mod any of my items unless they are furry. I do own a pair of mesh ears and horns that need to be re-tinted when I decide to change my skin...Tinting is A PAIN IN THE ARSE!! I can get the skin around my horns to look great, but my ears...I am constantly tweaking them because one day they're perfect (under one windlight) and then the next day, they're too dark, or bright (same windlight.) Drives me insane.

I wanted to see if I could pull off GIRLY....I look as uncomfortable as I feel. 😒

1) Yes/No. I'll catch myself standing like my AOs a lot. I would love to do the styles that I use in Second Life, but...I can't run to the grocery in panties that says "Satan's Girl|" and a tube top- I don't have the body for either (nor do I want to get a bath in holy water...lol) Leesha wears a lot of what I would if I could afford it and if I had the shape to pull it off. I guess you could say she is an outlet for what I wish I could wear/afford. 2) I was raised that way too. But unlike my Mother, I enjoy spending money on things I want as long as I don't go nuts... Buying a 900$ flat screen if I only have 30$ in the bank. An ex-friend of mine often had to sit me down and discuss why it wasn't a good idea to buy a 2k kitchen from LAQ just because it was "pretty". You and I share the same- but there are times I'll buy an outfit just for the boots, or a top...I'll save the rest (unless it's a different mesh body) unless I don't wear it in 3 months or more. Keeping my inventory organized is a priority. I did, however, purchase a pair of $12-13 socks in RL for my boots...That was a painful buy for socks. But my feet appreciate it.

My style is all over the place. Before joining SL I was a strict tomboy. I hated dresses of all shapes and sizes. But after I joined I started to learn to appreciate them and gradually came to love them. My Tomboy nature is still deeply embedded, and you can see that from my inventory, but what I wear for the day - or days - depends on my mood ... and those fluctuate a lot throughout the day. I could dress in panties and a pull-up (click to strip) top with a fuzzy cardigan that hangs off my forearms and combat boots with tall socks and bloody knees ... then 5-10 minutes later I could dress semi-formal. I don't know if there is one solitary person that I can pinpoint that inspired my love for a bit of everything. But what I do know is that I am extremely picky about what I spend my money on. Details, Color availability, how it looks on my avatar...That sort of thing. I don't impulse buy unless I know for certain that I am getting a deal.
